Effectively tone and strengthen your triceps anywhere

Tricep dips are a bodyweight Tricep exercise that makes working out and toning your triceps anywhere possible. Triceps seem to be a problem area for a lot of women, more so than men, so rather than hiding them, why not give them a little TLC. Tricep dips are an exercise you can do anywhere with no equipment. If you can’t find a bench to do these on you can use a sofa, secure chair that won’t topple over, bed, ottoman or the floor.

How to do Tricep Dips

This bodyweight tricep exercise starts with your legs either bent and your feet planted flat on the floor. Or to make it harder extend the legs so they’re straight and you’re on your heels.

Keep your butt close to the bench and hands as close to your body as possible with fingers pointed forward.

Slowly bend your elbows to a 90*angle and then straighten the arms slowly, this is 1 rep.

Tips on How to do Tricep Dips

  • Aim for 4 sets of as many reps as you can do to failure, rest 30 seconds between sets.

  • Remember to do a few arm circles to begin with to warm up and to stretch your triceps afterwards.
