Seven Stars Resort Review and Tour | What to Really Expect
Seven Stars Resort in the Turks and Caicos is a 4.5 star luxury beach resort with a full service spa right on Grace Bay Providenciales. But why stay at this resort in Providenciales versus the others? Here’s why my husband and I chose Seven Stars Turks and Caicos to stay at and everything else you need to know before booking this Turks and Caicos hotel.

We stayed in the Penthouse Ocean front junior suite which had 2 balconies, one oceanfront and 1 island view, a kitchen with the all important Nespresso espresso maker, jacuzzi tub and 2 closets. The ocean front location was important to us as the view is part of the beauty of a beach vacation.
We loved being on the top floor and how quiet this room was as well as the automatic black out blinds.
Seven Stars Resort and Spa Amenities
Seven Stars Turks and Caicos is a great place to stay whether you want to go out and explore the island and do tours like we did. Or whether you just prefer to stay and enjoy the resort amenities.
Amenities at Seven Stars Turks and Caicos include:
- Full service spa (additional cost). Massages are available at the spa, in your room, on the beach or poolside.
- 2 outdoor pools – 1 adults only and 1 family pool
- Children’s paddling pool
- Free children’s club
- 2 outdoor tennis courts
- Fitness center with free weights, fixed path machines and cardio machines.
- Business center
- On site complimentary covid testing (you need to schedule your appointment online).
- Beach sun loungers
- 2 restaurants and 2 bars (additional cost)

- Kayaks, paddle boards, sailing on site
- Complimentary cabanas at the family pool

Seven Stars Resort Dining Options
There are 2 restaurants and bars on site, Seven and the Deck. Seven is where breakfast is served daily and where you can book a fine dining dinner. Breakfast is mainly buffet style with a wide choice of fruit, cooked meats, eggs, potatoes, cereals, danishes, and an egg station where they can cook your eggs however you want them. There’s options for both healthy and blow out breakfasts.
The Deck is beachfront, open air and open for lunch and dinner.
The Deck has fabulous views of Grace Bay beach, so book a high top for sunset drinks and dinner and watch the sun go down before they light their bonfire on the beach. There’s live music at night as well and they have a great cocktail menu and wine selection. Food-wise, my husband really liked their burgers, chicken wrap and mojitos and I liked their Ahi salad, poke and rosé wine.

Cons
- Only 1 choice of restaurant for lunch and 2 for dinner
- Sand flies – but these are all along Grace Bay not just at Seven Stars resort Turks and Caicos so be sure to pack or buy mosquito repellant that’s at least 40% + Deet
How much does it cost to stay at Seven Stars Resort & Spa
This Turks and Caicos hotel varies in price depending on when you go and your room type.
In the low season in the Turk & Caicos Islands from June to November, you can find prices starting from around $550 in August for a 1 King bed junior suite with an island view up to $3600 per night for the 3 bedroom suite.
In the height of the season which is typically December to April, prices go up to $1075 (February) for the same 1 bedroom suite and going up to $4100 per night for the 3 bedroom ocean front suite.
A buffet Breakfast, wifi and parking is included in the prices.
Is Seven Stars family friendly
Yes, Seven Stars resort is family friendly as well as being great for couples looking for an adults only, romantic escape. Theres a free children’s club, paddling pool and family pool for families and for adults there’s an adults only pool.
In saying that, this is a peaceful resort and we really didn’t notice many kids unlike the Alexandra Resort which was packed with families and kids and had more going on for kids.

Which resort should I stay at? Ritz Carlton, Grace Bay Club or Seven Stars
These 3 luxury Turks and Caicos hotels are all pretty much next door to each other on Grace Bay. They’re also very similar in price. Here’s what makes them different and why we chose Seven Stars Turks and Caicos.
Hotel size
The Ritz has 155 rooms, Grace Bay Club has 82 rooms and Seven Stars resort 115 rooms. We liked the size of Seven Stars Turks and Caicos as it fell in between the 2 and we were concerned the Ritz would be too big.
Hotel Amenities
In addition to the Seven Stars resorts amenities, The Ritz also has a casino and convention center but it only has 1 restaurant. We didn’t want to stay somewhere where conventions would be going on and that would feel corporate. We also didn’t want to stay at a chain hotel but somewhere that felt a little different and that felt like the Turks and Caicos, not that could be anywhere in the World.
The Ritz in person is an eye saw; it’s completely monstrous and out of place on this island and not in keeping with any of the surrounding architecture or landscape. We’re so glad we decided not to stay here. We did go one night for 1 round of drinks and the bar is fine but they did get our bill wrong twice so we didn’t go back.
Grace Bay Club has more choice of restaurants than the other 2; it has 4. One of which is Infiniti Raw Bar which we went to once in 2014 and again for our anniversary dinner this year (2021). This restaurant has a romantic island feel with excellent miso cod and sushi as well as live music. Grace Bay Club has 3 outdoor pools versus the 2 at the other 2 resorts. However, Seven Stars is the only hotel that has breakfast included in the price.
Pricing
In January a 1 bedroom ocean view suite at Seven Stars resort is $1175, Grace Bay Club $1240 and The Ritz-Carlton $1371.
Having seen all of them in person, we’re really happy with our choice. If Seven Stars isn’t available, I highly recommend Grace Bay Club.
What are the best tours to do in Providenciales
We did several tours in Providenciales including a sunset glow worm sailing trip, jet ski tour, horse riding in the ocean and kayaking in the mangroves. I’ll blog about all of those later this week.
