Spotted! These are the Adidas Adilette slides the celebs are taking to the streets this season
Adidas Adilette slides have been around for over 50 years and have always been known for their comfort but haven’t exactly been a fashion item for a while. Relagated to running errands, a house or shower shoe, or hanging out poolside. This year this pool slide is back in style again with celebs from…all wearing them. While the Adidas Adilette slides 22 drop is giving men more options, the women’s Adidas Adilette comfort slides for women are coming out in more colors than ever before. If you can’t choose just one color, for this price, just get both. One for the house and one for going out as the sole is so comfortable you’re not going to want to take them off. My husband just got a pair of mens Adidas Adilette comfort slides and he can’t stop raving about them.

What’s the difference between the Adidas Adilette comfort slides and Adidas Adilette slides 22
Both the Adidas Adilette comfort and 22 slides are made of EVA rubber and lightweight unisex poolsides but there’s where the similarities stop.

Aesthetic wise, the bulkier Adidas Adilette 22 slides definitely feel more utilitarian and masculine than the Adidas comfort slides. The 3D upper looks like a topographic map and overall style has been compared to the Yeezy slides and I can see why.
The Adidas Adilette slides 22 originally only came in 4 options but they’re now offering 10 different colors versus the Adilette comfort slides which come more colors and designs than I can count.
Regardless of gender, if you like the 22’s and you want a tougher, edgier look that goes with this years cargo pants and double denim trends, check them out.
The adidas Adilette 22 slides feature a slip-on design in a black shade. Inspired by 3D topography and human expeditions to Mars, this pair has a futuristic look and is constructed with a contoured footbed and a soft rubber outsole for comfort.

The hardest part about shopping for Adidas Adilette slides is choosing the color. There are so many adidas 3-stripes design colors and even prints to choose from in this sport style slide. I ended up with a pink pair in my normal women’s size as I wanted them to go with my favorite swimwear and it means not getting my Dior slides sandy or wet while not burning my feet on the sand or pool deck. However, if you’re going for the ultimate beach vibe, check out their tropical printed footbed styles.
I’ve scouted out the best pricing, as so many people stock them and a lot of them run sales to be competitive.
There are a few different styles of these Adidas shoes but if you’re looking for the best style for lightweight comfort go for the Adidas Adilette comfort slides. As they have the extra plush Cloudfoam Plus contoured footbed. If you want something more on trend looking but less bulky than the 22 check out the Adidas Lumia slides below.
If you’re looking for a bargain, there are lots of women’s Adidas Adilette comfort slides on sale in 21 different colors on the brands website as well as in the edit below.
How to style Adidas Adilette slides
These pool sandals are such a versatile, casual shoe but if you want more outfit ideas, take styling inspiration from the celebrities and wear your Adidas slides with:
- Leggings and a tank top like Jennifer Lawrence. Although you may want to skip the socks!
- Jeans and a tee shirt like Courtney Cox.
- A jumpsuit like Kate Hudson took to the streets in.
- Joggers, a cropped and leather moto jacket for morning coffee runs.
- Denim shorts and a t-shirt as seen on Sophie Turner.
- Create an on trend monochromatic hot pink outfit like Katy Perry.
- With your workout gear like Khloé Kardashian to go to and from yoga class.
