Haus Labs Makeup Review: Is Haus Labs Worth the Hype?

In this Haus Labs review, I’m putting a full face of Haus Labs makeup to the test to see which products are actually worth buying. After falling in love with the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, I wanted to find out if the rest of the collection lived up to the hype, including the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer, Haus Labs blush, and highlighter. I also wanted to see how everything layered together, whether anything pilled or separated, how it performed on mature skin, and which products stood out after a full day of wear.

Haus Labs originally launched in 2019 before being completely reimagined in 2022 as a skincare-infused, high-performance beauty brand. Since then, Haus Labs makeup has become known for complexion products that combine makeup with skincare, including the viral foundation, Haus Labs blushes, and concealer. I’ve already shared my in-depth foundation review, so this time I’m focusing on how the entire collection performs together, and which products I’d actually buy again.

What Is Haus Labs?

Haus Labs is Lady Gaga’s beauty brand, created with the idea that makeup should do more than simply cover your skin. Instead of focusing on heavy, full-coverage formulas, the brand combines high-performance makeup with skin-loving ingredients designed to help your complexion look and feel its best which is perfect for anyone who takes their skincare and makeup seriously or those of us with mature skin. From the viral Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation to the Haus Labs Concealer, the collection has become known for lightweight, natural-looking formulas that deliver buildable coverage while leaving skin looking fresh rather than mask-like. If you’re looking for makeup that creates a polished finish without feeling heavy, it’s easy to see why Haus Labs makeup has developed such a loyal following.

My Full Face of Haus Labs Makeup

After reviewing the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation in a dedicated video, I couldn’t stop there. So I put together a full face using Haus Labs makeup to see if the concealer, blush and highlighter were just as good. I’m 46, so I wanted to see how everything applied and looked on real mature skin not their youthful models and not just immediately after application, but after wearing throughout the day too. If you’ve been wondering whether Haus Labs is worth the hype, I hope this helps you decide what to buy.

Products tested in this Haus Labs makeup review:

  1. Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation (Shade 200 Light Medium Neutral) as I’m always on the hunt for a flattering, natural-looking foundation that covers but still lets my skin look like skin.
  2. Haus Labs Foundation Brush since this is what Haus Labs recommends applying their foundation with and I’m all about trying to get as flawless an application and blur my lines as much as humanly possible.
  3. Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer (Shade 02 Fair Golden) because most of us need a little help with brightening and depuffing under our eyes.
  4. Haus Labs Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm (Glassy Pomelo) I’m all about liquid blush these days as I find it so much more forgiving on cheek lines and this color looked so pretty.
  5. Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter (Rose Quartz) because how doesn’t love a good highlighter and a little shimmer.

Haus Labs Review: Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation

I go into much more detail in my dedicated Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation Review, but after using it again as part of a full face, my opinion hasn’t changed and I’m still just as in love with it as the first time I tried it. You can apply it with either the Haus Labs Foundation Brush which I was surprisingly impressed with as someone who normally finds foundation brushes cause streaks or a Beauty Blender. I like to use both. Haus Labs foundation brush to apply and spread the product and then the sponge to buff it out. Here are my before and after results.

Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer Review

I’m always skeptical when it comes to concealer claims that say they don’t crease because when you get to a certain age it’s pretty impossible for them not to sit in your creases. Haus Labs concealers says that it visibly blurs, brightens and conceals with medium, buildable coverage that de-puffs after 2 weeks of use, so I’ll share before and afters on that later.

Shades: Haus Labs concealer comes in 23 shades. I normally ignore recommendations and go with one of the lightest shades. The one I’m wearing is 02 Fair Golden which was the perfect shade for me IMO.

Application: The application of this is dead easy. You can use your finger, concealer brush or makeup sponge to tap to blend, build and layer. Tip: less is more. You’re going to want to build in layers rather than try to do one thick coat. Remembering to allow the concealer to set between layers and dab off any excess especially on your eyelids so it has a better chance of not creasing. I’d class this as a medium to full coverage concealer depending on how much you apply.

Finish: I used mine with Haus Labs foundation and they play really well together. I also used setting powder on mine so I can’t talk to how it wears by itself, but with setting powder it was really long wearing without creasing on my mature skin or fading. Wait until your concealer is dry before powdering and less is more when it comes to the powder so it doesn’t go cakey.

The color stayed true, was brightening, and felt hydrating thanks to it’s depuffing, hydrating and brightening ingredients.

Haus Labs Blush Balm Review

If there’s one makeup product I can’t resist, it’s blush. I’ve reviewed countless blushes over the years, so it takes a lot to impress me, especially one that doesn’t fade, oxidize or go patchy. The Haus Labs Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm comes in 12 shades. I chose Glassy Pomelo, a fresh peachy pink that looked perfect for summer. I’ve been layering cream and powder blushes for years for better wear time and a more hydrating finish. What sold me on Haus Labs longwear balm is that like all of Haus Labs formulas it’s infused with skincare and its multi use, making it great for quick makeup days or travel and it’s supposed to last 8 hours.

Application: just swipe it on, diffuse and blend edges with your finger, brush or makeup sponge, and layer for more color. You can also use it for a wash of color on your lips. It’s really easy to build, so you can create everything from subtle to bold looks.

Color and wear: The color is really easy to build and I loved this feminine, rosy shade. One thing I noticed was that it was a warm peach pink on my cheeks but more of a cool light pink on my lips! Sometimes when a product is hydrating or glowy it can be sticky, thankfully this isn’t. And because it’s formulated with 70% skincare actives it feels really nice going on, is glowy and hydrating. Longevity wise, when I put it to the test with the foundation and the rest of the makeup in this Haus Labs makeup review it held up so well. It didn’t fade or need touching up at all.

I think whatever age you are, and especially if you have mature skin you’ll love it as it has a hydrating finish. Something I always look for living in the desert and a plumping complex.

Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Gel Powder Highlighter Review

I tested the Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter in Rose Quartz, mainly because I wanted to step outside my comfort zone. Most of the highlighters I own are champagne, bronze or golden shades, so I thought a soft pink would be something different. If I’m honest, I wish I’d gone with what I know.

On my light-medium skin tone, Rose Quartz looked a little too pink to work as a traditional face or body highlighter. If you have a different skin tone, you’ll probably have a completely different experience, but for me it wasn’t the most flattering choice as a highlighter.

That said, I ended up discovering another way to use it that I actually loved. Rather than reaching for it as a highlighter, I’ve been applying it with a fluffy brush as a blush and even wearing it as eyeshadow. As someone who rarely wears pink eyeshadow, I was surprised by how much I liked the finished look. It tied the whole makeup look together beautifully and looked much softer than I expected.

The formula itself is excellent. I applied it with my fingertip as a highlighter and found one swipe was more than enough. It’s highly pigmented, so I’d recommend starting with a small amount and building up gradually rather than applying too much at once.

What I appreciated most was the finish. Instead of obvious glitter, it gives skin a soft-focus radiance that looks much more forgiving on mature skin. It didn’t emphasize pores or texture, and the finely milled, gel-powder formula blended seamlessly into the rest of my makeup.

Like the rest of the Haus Labs makeup collection, it’s also infused with skincare ingredients. Fermented Arnica Oil provides antioxidant benefits, while Silver Vine Extract helps brighten the complexion. Combined with the brand’s talc-free formula and soft-focus finish, it feels like a highlighter that’s designed to enhance your skin rather than simply sit on top of it.

While Rose Quartz wasn’t quite the right shade for me as a highlighter, I’d happily purchase the formula again in a champagne or golden tone because I genuinely loved how natural and smoothing it looked on the skin.

How the Haus Labs Makeup Products Work Together

One of the things I was most curious about when doing this Haus Labs review was how the products would perform as a complete routine rather than individually. The good news? Everything worked together beautifully. The Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, Haus Labs Concealer, blush and highlighter layered effortlessly without pilling, separating or disturbing the products underneath. The blush blended over the foundation without lifting it, while the concealer stayed smooth under my eyes and worked seamlessly with the rest of the complexion products.

I lightly set my foundation and concealer with powder but left my cheeks unpowdered before applying the blush and highlighter. That helped maintain the natural, radiant finish while still giving the foundation enough longevity for a long day.

The finished result was one of my favorite makeup looks I’ve created in a while. The overall finish looked skin-like, hydrated and naturally radiant while still providing impressive coverage. It never looked heavy or greasy, even after filming outdoors for around 30 minutes in 111°F Las Vegas heat.

After roughly eight hours of wear, the foundation still looked remarkably fresh. Even my sweaty upper lip from taking photos outside hadn’t disrupted the finish, which genuinely impressed me. The only adjustment I made was quickly buffing out a little creasing on my upper eyelids where I’d applied concealer. Next time, I’d simply use a little less product there.

Is Haus Labs Makeup Good for Mature Skin?Based on my experience, yes.

As someone with mature skin, I’m always looking for makeup that enhances my complexion rather than emphasizing fine lines or texture, and that’s where Haus Labs really impressed me. The formulas created a healthy, hydrated glow without looking greasy, while still providing enough coverage to even out redness and leave my skin looking naturally perfected rather than heavily made up.

The Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation gave my skin one of the most natural-looking finishes I’ve worn in a long time and I was so impressed with the color match. Combined with the concealer, blush and highlighter, my complexion looked smoother, fresher and more radiant throughout the day.

I also appreciated that none of the complexion products settled into my pores or highlighted skin texture. The highlighter’s soft-focus finish was particularly flattering because it delivered glow without obvious shimmer, something I find much more forgiving on mature skin.

If you have combination, dry or mature skin, I think this collection is especially worth considering. The skincare-inspired formulas helped my skin feel comfortable and hydrated throughout the day rather than tight or overly matte. One tip I’d give anyone with mature skin is to use a light hand with powder. Setting only where you need it helps maintain that fresh, healthy finish while reducing the chance of makeup looking heavy or settling into creases later in the day.

My Favorite Haus Labs Products Ranked

If I had to rank the products after wearing a full face, this is how they came out:

1. Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the standout product and the one I’d recommend to almost anyone. It’s easy to find your shade using their online shade finder and it delivers beautiful coverage while still looking incredibly natural on mature skin.

2. Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Tie)

Creamy, lightweight and brightening without feeling heavy. Aside from using a little too much on my eyelids, I was really impressed.

2. Haus Labs Color Fuse Blush ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Tie)

Beautiful pigmentation, easy to blend and it layered perfectly over the foundation without lifting it.

4. Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

The formula itself is fantastic, but Rose Quartz wasn’t the ideal shade for my skin tone as a traditional highlighter. That said, I absolutely loved using it as a blush and eyeshadow, and I’d happily buy the formula again in a champagne or golden shade.

Who Should Buy Haus Labs Makeup?

Haus Labs is a great choice if you want makeup that combines impressive performance with skincare-inspired ingredients. I’d particularly recommend it for anyone with combination, dry or mature skin looking for complexion products that provide coverage without feeling heavy or emphasizing texture. If you love a natural, radiant finish that still looks like skin, this collection is well worth considering.

If you could only buy one product from the entire range, I’d start with the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation. It completely lived up to the hype for me and has quickly become one of my favorite foundations for both the day and night.

Haus Labs Review FAQs

Is Haus Labs makeup worth it?

If you’re looking for makeup that combines skincare-inspired ingredients with high-performance formulas, I think Haus Labs is absolutely worth considering. After wearing a full face for eight hours, including filming outdoors in 111°F Las Vegas heat, my makeup still looked fresh, natural and comfortable with very little touch-up required.

Is Haus Labs good for mature skin?

Yes. As someone with 45+ skin, I found the formulas hydrated my complexion without emphasizing pores or texture. The overall finish was radiant and skin-like rather than heavy or overly matte.

Does Haus Labs Concealer crease?

Very little as long as you apply in light coats, wait for them to dry down between them, and use setting powder. The concealer stayed smooth under my eyes throughout the day. I did notice a small amount of creasing on my upper eyelids during application, but I had applied more product there than I normally would. Next time, I’d simply use less.

Is Haus Labs cruelty-free?

Yes. Haus Labs is a cruelty-free brand, and many of its products are also vegan.

Can you wear Haus Labs Highlighter as eyeshadow?

Absolutely. Although I chose the Rose Quartz shade as a highlighter, I actually preferred using it as a blush and eyeshadow. It tied the whole makeup look together beautifully, and I’d happily continue using it that way. You can also use them as body highlighters.

Final Verdict Here’s how a full face of Haus Labs performs when all the products are worn together.

After wearing a full face of Haus Labs makeup together, I can understand why the brand has developed such a loyal following. Every complexion product layered beautifully, nothing pilled or separated, and the finished result looked fresh, radiant and incredibly skin-like throughout the day. Even after eight hours of wear, including filming outside in 111°F Las Vegas heat, my makeup still looked polished with very little touch-up required.

While I’d choose a different shade of highlighter next time, I genuinely enjoyed every product I tested and wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase them. If you’re looking for high-performance makeup that delivers beautiful results while still feeling comfortable on mature skin, Haus Labs is absolutely a brand I’d recommend trying.
