Revolve clothing review and try on hauls! Revolve clothes have been all over this blog ever since it started from Revolve dresses to shoes and accessories. It’s the super popular online fashion site that has hundreds of brands for clothing, accessories and beauty and offers free shipping and returns. It’s been my go to online for a majority of my wardrobe for years for lots of reasons. I’m always on the hunt for the best Revolve clothing in my monthly review hauls and have lots of links to their clothing and accessories on here. So I wanted to do a complete Revolve review which I’ll keep adding my monthly hauls to. This way you can make more informed buying decisions. Along with my experience with different brands on Revolve like Lovers and Friends, Michael Costello, Camila Coelho and Tularosa and my current favorite Revolve dresses, tops, jackets and shoes and what hit the return pile.

What is revolve clothing
Revolve is a women’s online fashion store. They carry hundreds of brands from designers like Versace to more affordable brands like Superdown. I find it to be pretty much a one stop shop for my clothes unless I’m shopping for bags or a designer they don’t carry. As they have everything from gowns to everyday casual basics, swimwear, shoes and beauty. I’m also more of an online than in store shopper and their free shipping and returns policy makes that hassle free.

I’m sharing the details on sizing, quality and everything you need to know about various brands on Revolve before you checkout. As well as what $2000 gets you in Revolve clothes, the pros & cons and my top picks this season.
Revolve clothing review: How does Revolve clothes sizing run
Revolve clothing sizing and quality varies from brand to brand but you do tend to get what you pay for. In saying that, Superdown is one of their more affordable brands and I’ve had several purchases from them that I’ve been really happy with and the sizing has been consistent.
Revolve has so many clothing brands on their website and all of the different brands sizing runs slightly differently. As with all companies and brands there are always some misses. Which is why their free shipping (both ways) and returns policy is amazing and part of the reason I’m doing these monthly review hauls. So that you can see how different styles fit and look on someone whose not 6 foot tall. For reference I’m 5’2″, size 0/XS, shoe 7/37.
I tend to find that Amanda Uprichard, Superdown, Michael Costello, Lovers and Friends and h:ours run true to size.
Other brands like Camila Coelho, Dundas X Revolve, NBD and Retrofete can be a bit hit and miss. With Retrofete, I’ve had dresses be the perfect fit and others run super small.
I also find NBD a bit hit and miss for sizing. Sometimes an XS is perfect and other times another style is too big or too small.
If you’re unsure of your sizing you can always order a few sizes to try on since they offer free shipping and returns. Which takes a lot of the hassle and expense out if online shopping.

May’s Revolve clothing haul includes summer outfits, coverups, swimsuits and summer sandals. Here’s what I kept and what hit the return pile.
January Revolve Clothing Review Haul
This months was Revolve clothes were a lot less dressy than usual for me and more practical, warm everyday clothes that check off some 2023 fashion trends. Like leather on leather, denim dresses, crop tops, and white textured knee high boots.

- Black leather mini skirt in size XS was too big. I recommend sizing down.

Here’s everything I’m wearing in this Revolve clothing review haul and how the sizing runs.
- LPA black bodysuit wearing an XS. I find this runs true to size.
- Camila Coehlo pink blazer in XXS. The blazer in this Revolve clothing review is part of a matching set. The shorts run true to size but the blazer runs big.
- Camila Coehlo high waisted pink Paulina shorts in XS which is my normal size.
- Raye pink satin shoes (wearing a size 7). I find they run true to size. You’ll see a lot of Raye shoes in my Revolve clothing reviews as they tend to have a lot of more on trend styles.
- Lovers and Friends pink satin mini dress in XS.
- Lovers and Friends black sweater dress in XS.
- Tularosa moto jacket in XS.

Revolve Dresses
When shopping for dresses I tend to end up with a lot of Revolve clothing from Lovers and Friends and Michael Costello. I’ve raved about this pink satin Revolve dress before in my Lovers and Friends review. It’s the most stunning shade of pink and perfect for the Barbiecore and hot pink color trend.
I’m wearing my normal size XS and find it runs true to size besides being quite low cut around the sides of the bust but it’s nothing some double sided tape can’t fix.
Some of my favorite dresses from Revolve
You’ve seen Michael Costello X Revolve and this black cocktail dress on here before. I tend to feature his glam, feminine styles in my wedding guest dress and holiday party dress edits.
I find Michael Costello clothing sizing consistent but have returned a couple just because either the cut didn’t work for me or I didn’t think it was worth the price. This is one of the dresses I’ve had the most compliments on during a night out.
Norma Kamali is another brand on Revolve whose quality and fit is pretty consistent and not overpriced.
I also have a lot of Lovers and Friends dresses like this blue sweater dress. If you’re looking for a change from your normal black sweater dress and like blue, this is a stunning shade of blue. You can see the color better in the video above than here.
I find Lovers and Friends runs true to size fit wise but is quite short and I’m 5’2″! The bell sleeves are also a little different too. I love details like that to make dresses stand out from your average dress.
Revolve clothing review | What are the best brands on Revolve
There are some many brands on Revolve from designer to more affordable brands. So there’s something for everyone whatever price point you’re shopping at and they run really good sales.
Besides Lovers and Friends and Michael Costello, I also tend to buy a lot from Majorelle, Bardot, Camila Coehlo, Superdown, Amanda Uprichard, Tulorosa, Lovers and Friends, LPA and Assignment. These brands fit my body the best, their styles match my aesthetic and their quality is pretty consistent.
Revolve shipping and returns policy
Revolve’s free shipping and returns means you’re not stuck with something that doesn’t fit. I’ll often order 2-3 sizes in something, especially if it’s a brand I’m not familiar with so I can find the perfect fit without worrying about it selling out. A lot of Revolve ‘best sellers’ sell out fast but you can always sign up for back in stock notifications.
I’ve always found their shipping on in stock items to be really fast. Normally 24-48 hours on both gifted and purchased items but I do live near one of their shipping hubs.
One thing I do recommend doing and that’s free is to sign up for an account rather than checking out as a guest. It makes it easy to track orders and to earn reward points on your Revolve clothes and beauty purchases.

It depends on the brand you buy. I tend to find the more expensive brands on Revolve to be better than the cheaper ones but that goes for most things. You expect better quality, the more you pay.
