Anine Bing is one of those casual athleisure wear brands that’s been gaining popularity over the last few years. Known for it’s Scandinavian simplicity and wardrobe basics, the company launched in 2012 but it’s only in recent years as athleisure wears become popular that this brand has really grown in popularity. This Los Angeles based fashion brand is synonymous with streetwear, laid back casual style, retro graphic sweatshirts and t-shirts for contemporary women. However, it’s not just casual apparel this global fashion house makes. As much as I’m an Anine Bing sweatshirt girl, they also design bags, shoes, satin dresses and sexy lacy lingerie. It’s more of a mid-price brand than a designer or luxury brand. Prices range from around $100 for a t-shirt to $150-199 for a sweatshirt or hoodie. All the way up to over $800 for an investment piece like a coat.
What is Anine Bing known for
Anine Bing’s clothing style is dubbed Scandi-cool. Which basically means chic, simple and effortless. When I think of this brand, I think laid back, relaxed wardrobe basics for modern women but the collection’s actually more diverse than that. It includes trending metallics, prints, graphic designs and the prettiest lace bras.
People who are into fashion in LA and Scandinavia are both looking for those wardrobe essentials that elevate any look. Something that makes them feel cool, relevant, edgy, but never trying too hard.

It’s not just a sweatshirt, hoodies, t-shirt and other wardrobe basics brand. She does now design satin dresses and skirts that are more chic and elegant than most of her other styles but just as effortless.

Yes, her clothing is consistently good quality and sizing tends to run true to size. I find her sweatshirts to be super soft and well made. I also find the colors don’t tend to run or fade in the wash.
Most of the time her clothings rated 4-5/5 stars in all of the reviews on Revolve.

Does the sizing run true to size
I find their sizing pretty consistent, in their clothes at least. I haven’t tried their shoes. If in doubt about a specific style, scroll to the bottom of each item to read the reviews and to see how the sizing runs.
I ordered my usual XS in this grey sweatshirt. It works well with a blazer or French tucked but I probably could have sized up for a longer fit to wear with leggings.
I might have to get the camel turtleneck sweatshirt to solve that issue. As I love how the neutral long line sweater looks with black leather pants and leggings for a casual everyday style and running errands. It’s definitely a style that embraces the American spirit.

It’s definitely a brand I’ll be buying more of. I really want to size up next time in the sweatshirts for a more relaxed fit. I’m not really a graphic tee girl but there’s a classic stripe sweater that’s on my wishlist. As well as a classic trench coat and ivory cashmere blend coat for Fall/Winter.
I keep favoriting pieces so that way I get sale alerts if there’s a price drop. You know how much I love a good sale and I feel like some of her pieces are a bit overpriced for what they are when they’re not on sale.
