Fashion trends 2025 have me excited to change up my styling and move away from minimalism. If you wondering what’s in style this year keep reading. I’ve rounded up all the fashion inspiration you need and the biggest fashion trends for 2025 from bags and accessories to outfits and themes, prints to color trends based off of Fashion world trend predictions from top editors from Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Who What Wear and what we saw on the runways the most often. We aren’t fortune tellers and we can’t 100% guarantee them but they’re the ones we are predicting will be the biggest fashion trends for 2025. I’m sharing both designer and luxe for less ideas for each trend to make them attainable whatever your budget. What’s great about so many of these is that they are actually wearable fashion trends for 2025.

Fashion trends 2025 | Sized up and structured bags
I love this trend as it’s actually a practical trend that works for everyday. Designers from The Row to Ferragamo have been upsizing their bestselling bags.
Look for styles that are big enough to hold all of your essentials and strong enough to carry by their top handles.
Pinstripes
Pinstripes were seen everywhere from Chanel and Louis Vuitton. It doesn’t matter if they’re wide or narrow stripes. Style them as a suit, with cozy knits, mixed prints and pointed toe shoes or boots. This is definitely one trend I’ll be leaning into as it’s such a chic and wearable fashion trend for 2025. I’m more likely to wear the pinstripe tends as something like the matching set below or as a button down pinstripe shirt with jeans.
2025 Pantone color of the year | Mocha mousse
Mocha Mousse AKA brown is the 2025 Pantone color of the year so expect to see a lot of brown as we start the year off. I’m not the biggest fan of this color, so if you’re like me and want to incorporate it but not wear it, look for brown eyeshadows, bags or boots.
If I was going to wear the brown fashion trend in 2025, I’d look to outfits like the one above for fashion inspiration for 2025. The proportions are well balanced and it creates an elongated look.
What denim is in style for 2025
When it comes to denim fashion trends for 2025 barrel leg jeans are unfortunately still in style. I personally just don’t think these look flattering on anyone unless you’re auditioning to be a rodeo clown. I’ll be sticking to more ladylike and classic styles like straight and wide leg jeans which are such a wearable fashion trend for 2025.
When it comes to what rise is in style, all rises are in style and color wise look for solid blue, white and off white denim.
When it comes to styling your jeans in 2025, think pinstripe shirts, brown bodysuits, sheer layers, an off the shoulder top, bodysuit and tweed blazer and pointed toe stiletto heels.
Statement jewelry
Instead of the cookie cutter Van Cleef and Cartier pieces we’ve seen over the last few years, for 2025, think jewelry that’s more unique to your personal style. Along with chunky gold and heart motif pieces. It’s one of the easiest ways to update your wardrobe for 2025.
Sheer fashion trends 2025
Sheers have been a fashion trend for the last several years but how it’s styled has changed over time. For 2025 fashion, think sheer dresses over bodycon slip dresses which is probably my favorite way to style sheers and looks the most elegant. Also sheer shirts over bodysuits or bras with jeans and pumps, or a sheer skirt over a bodysuit. The easiest way to wear the sheer trend is a fully opaque dress that’s sheer from the mid thigh down. For fashion inspiration for 2025, look to Dior and Rosetta Getty runway photos as sheers were seen at both of their shows.
Maximalist fashion trend 2025
As seen at Louis Vuitton, No. 21 and Del Core. I’m so happy to see this trend again for 2025, as I’m so over minimalist styling. Think crystal embellished pieces, lace trims, statement jewelry, ruffles, bubble hems and balloon sleeves. Don’t be afraid of volume this year. This is another 2025 fashion trend I’ll be fully embracing from sparkly dresses to lace to voluminous skirts.
Romantic textures and fabrics
Think floaty boho styles like floaty maxi skirts, floaty blouses, peasant dresses, lace, ruffles and sheer pieces for this 2025 fashion trend. It’s an easy trend to dress up or down. For the day, think a floaty peasant top and jeans for the night a cute floaty maxi dress.
Suede and faux suede
Suede and faux suede in every color and every item are a big fashion trend for 2025 and one of the more wearable fashion trends of 2025. Suede jackets, pants, midi skirts, bags and shoes all made appearances on the 2025 runways. It’s a trend that requires a lot of suede protector and maintenance but is so pretty.
Styling wise, I’ll probably be wearing this trend as a suede jacket and jeans outfit or pulling my suede boots out of hiding and wearing those under my pants and vest outfits or with a romantic boho maxi dress.
Casual fashion trends 2025 | Sporty chic athleisure wear
As seen at Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Burberry and Off White. This 2025 fashion trend is all about mixing athletic pieces with more dressy pieces to be able to wear it as an everyday outfit rather than just basic sweats. Think Adidas pants with a white button down shirt and pearls, a tracksuit top with a mini skirt, a workout tank with dress pants, varsity jackets with suede midi skirt and boots, a sports jersey with a pleated skirt, socks and Mary Jane pumps, or a rugby shirt with wide leg jeans and heels. This is a fun trend to play around with and to seek out fashion inspiration on Instagram.
This is the perfect example of a sporty chic outfit. Mixing loafers, a button down shirt and overcoat with sweats.
Fun fashion trends 2025 | Leopard print

Resort wear go a sexy but elegant upgrade this year with lots of off the shoulder dresses and tops making an appearance. As seen at The Row and Rag & Bone 20245. So bare your bronzed shoulders this summer in flattering off the shoulder styles.

Whether it’s relaxed, fitted or something in between, polo neck tops and dresses are still going strong. It’s a great everyday fashion trend that leans into the preppy aesthetic. Style them everything from wide leg pants to jeans to skirt suits.
Tweed jacket
Tweed and boucle jackets are a forever classic that I have so many of. For 2025, we’re styling tweed jackets with a bodysuit or button down shirt on the top with jeans or wide leg pants and stiletto pumps on the bottom. Which leads me into the next trend:
First Lady styling
Expect to see a lot of this aesthetic in 2025 for obvious reasons. I love this classic, retro style of dressing. Think classic boxy sheath dresses styled with ballet pumps or Mary Jane flats, chic skirt suits or elegant midi dresses.
