Prada has always been my go to for designer bags but this year I’m turning my eyes and wallet to their shoes, here’s why.
Prada shoes and sandals are something I’ve never splurged on but my heads been turned. I’ve been tempted by their sparkly crystal slides in the past and never hit the buy button, but this year I’m well and truly obsessed with Prada’s triangle logo. From Prada’s classic stiletto pumps to slingback sandals these will definitely be a part of my duty free shopping in Europe this Summer. You know I’m a savvy shopper and always hunt down the best prices and styles. So here’s the newest Prada shoes for women as seen at Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ Spring/Summer 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week, what’s on my wishlist, top picks from flats to Prada heels, and of course the best sale finds!

What’s new in Prada shoes for women in 2025
The Prada Spring Summer 2025 fashion show saw these women’s Prada shoes come down the runways:
- Prada flat Mary Jane shoes in both black and white.
- Black brushed leather loafers.
- Green, silver, yellow and black stiletto pumps.
- White and orange women’s cowboy boots.
- Stripe peep toe platform Prada high heel sandals.
- White caged Prada flat sandals.
- Bold color sneakers.
- Cross strap leather Prada flat slide sandals.
- Square toe, sculptural ballet flats.
We exist in an era of extreme information, immersed in a constant stream of content. If that interpretation posits an architecture of understanding, in contrast humanity can be defined by its unpredictability, a rejection of the derivative and expected. Prada
However, it’s not the runway looks that are winning me over but rather their classic styles and I’m not the only one.
Celebrities wearing Prada shoes
Celebrities like Enhypen, Aespa’s Karina, NCT’s Jaehyun, Charli D’Amelio, Sarah Paulson, Carey Mulligan and Letitia Wright were all seen bringing their footwear A-game in Prada shoes at Prada’s spring 2025 show.
Dea Kulumbegashvili, Amanda Peet and Carey Mulligan both chose a sleek and sophisticated pair of Prada black stiletto heel pumps that are a classic. I’m seriously considering splurging on the white leather Prada logo version as it’s a color that goes with everything. Yes, I already have white pumps but they’re not Prada and you know I love a logo!
Prada’s lilac satin heel pumps were another popular choice but when I’m spending this much I want something more practical than satin. I already made that mistake with a pair of red satin Versace heels.
Nicole Kidman was also spotted at SXSW Sydney wearing the Prada black slingback pointed-toe pumps. Retailing for around $1,200, these pumps, like most Prada shoes are made in Italy. The brushed leather, pointed toe, stiletto style with it’s raised triangular Prada logo, is that versatile capsule wardrobe heel that looks just as good with jeans as with dresses. It’s not a new style but it is a classic and it’s top of my wishlist. Prada also carries the same slingback style in both white and one of this years biggest color trends “Powder Pink”.
What Prada shoes are best to buy
Unless money is of no object to you and you can afford every new trend that comes out, the best Prada shoes to buy 2025 are ones you’ll get the most wear out of. I’ve always said that luxury purchases need to be worth it and truly special. Whether that’s where, why or who bought it.
Classic styles in durable materials like calfskin leather that you can wear and will still love year after year like their loafers, pumps, slingback heels or the Prada ballet flats seen on Elizabeth Olsen.
The Prada shoes on my wishlist
These are the Prada shoes on my wishlist from highest priority down:
1. Prada brushed leather loafers
I’ve been trying to find the perfect designer white loafers for a while. Smarter than sneakers and more comfortable and supportive than slide sandals, they’re perfect for walking around European cities in the summer. They do offer chunkier versions but I prefer the timeless silhouette of these loafers and refined finish of the brushed leather. They also come in black which is another versatile option.
They are on my shopping list for St Tropez this Summer. Urgh, sorry, that sounds like a douchy name drop but one of my shopping tips is if you know you’re traveling to somewhere where you can shop duty free put together a shopping list and wait to buy until you’re there if you know it’s something that will still be in stock. I half stick to this plan and half impulse buy, it’s not a perfect plan but it’s a plan!
2. Chic Prada shoes | Brushed leather slingback pumps
These slingbacks are the Prada high heels I’ve been crushing on for a while. They’re such a feminine and sharp Summer heel that I know I’d wear with everything and year after year. The raised padded triangle logo makes them look fresh and geometric heel keeps them looking modern and fresh. They come in black, powder pink, and granite grey but it’s the white I’m in love with as I already have the bag.
3. Prada Prax 01 Re-Nylon and leather sneakers
I love white sneakers for traveling and working at the colleges in the Fall, especially ones with lug soles for some grip on rainy days in Oregon. These are a comfortable classic I’m dying to get my feet into. With all of the details from Prada we love, like the distinctive shape emblematic triangle and leather details.
If you’re thinking of investing in women’s designer sneakers, give these sporty kicks a look. For something more classic, you can’t go wrong with the Downtown nappa leather sneakers which comes in ivory or black either.
4. Prada high heels | Metallic leather sandals
For someone who has a ridiculous amount of shoes, I actually don’t have a pair of silver heels and these metallic Prada high heel sandals have my name all over them. Well actually, they have Prada’s name on them but you know what I mean. Made of durable calfskin, they’re a shoe that will last. Silver and gold heels can be hard to get right and not look too much like ballroom dancer shoes but Prada’s iconic geometric triangle architectural heel makes them most definitely an iconic fashion shoe.
5. Prada leather and shearling boots
If you live in or are traveling to a cold place these black, rubber lug sole winter boots are the epitome of practical style. Their warm shearling lining makes me want to book a Winter break right now and you can’t miss their logo!
Another option I absolutely love is their shearling lined tan suede ankle booties.
If you prefer quiet luxury and logo free shoes, check out the:
- Prada patent leather saffiano pumps which goes perfectly with their Galleria saffiano tote bag.
- Black Nappa leather knee high boots.
Shop the best Prada shoes & sandals for 2025
Directly from Prada to the best Prada shoe sale finds, here’s my top picks for the most splurge-worthy shoes for 2025. I’ll update this when I finally get to buy mine with sizing tips and more photos.
Prada women’s shoes sizing
Prada shoes, sneakers, loafers and ballet flats generally run true to size. Although some reviews say they can run narrow and can vary from style to style like the Prada Cloudburst sneakers which some mention run a little big.
To convert women’s Prada shoe sizes from European to US sizing, simply remove the 3. E.g:
- Prada/IT 37: US/CA 7
- Prada/IT 38: US/CA 8
- Prada/IT 39: US/CA 9
Tips for breaking in your Prada shoes
Leather loafers can take some breaking in, especially if it’s a stiffer leather. If you find your leather Prada shoes too small or too narrow or you just want to break them in you can do so by following these tips:
- Put on a pair of socks.
- Then while wearing your shoes, turn your hair dryer on a low heat and focus only on the areas (not the whole shoes) that need softening and stretching out being careful not to burn your feet.
- Do not treat the whole shoe to prevent damaging them. You can always do a patch test on the interior leather first to make sure you’re not going to damage them.
- Allow them to stretch out on your feet by wearing them.
- When you take them off, stuff them with a thick pair of rolled socks to continue stretching them out.
- Continue these steps until you have them as broken in as you want.
- Wearing socks will help prevent your loafers from rubbing while they’re in the breaking in phase. Plus it’s still an on trend way to wear them.
