Everything you need to know about Banish skincare Banish kit | Review, how to use, tips, Banish discount code, before and after results
Banish skincare is known for their Banish at home microneedling device and cruelty-free, made fresh daily skincare products. The Banish Kit 3.0 by Banish skincare is their newest release and the latest at home skincare device I got my hands on. It comes with the new Banisher for microneedling at home, 2 replacement heads and the Banish Vitamin C serum. So I’m going to do a quick and honest Banisher review, share with you how to use it, my exclusive Banish discount code and my personal thoughts on whether it’s worth it or not. I’ve now been using the Banish Kit 3.0 for 18 months and am sharing genuine long-term before and after results including my progress on chicken pox scars, hyperpigmentation and fine lines below.
I tested the Banish Kit 3.0 as part of an ongoing brand collaboration with Banish, which means I receive direct briefs and the latest product information straight from the brand, giving me a more informed perspective than a standard independent review. I bring professional beauty formulation training through my own cosmetics line, Dawes Custom Cosmetics, and have personal experience with multiple at-home skincare devices including microcurrent, LED and laser hair removal, which gives me broader context for evaluating how the Banish Kit compares to other devices. Banish Kit 3.0 review
The Banish 3.0 is what they call the safest at home microstamper. It’s designed for stimulating collagen production, treating acne scars, hyperpigmentation and fine lines at home. As a fast, easy and more affordable option than an in office treatment. Obviously it’s not going to be as intense but it is quick and easy and I’ve seen some truly amazing before and after result photos and reviews so I have high hopes for it.
I don’t have acne scars but I do have chicken pox scars, hyperpigmentation and fine lines so I’m excited and nervous to try it. I’m not worried about it being painful, but about using needles at home on my face.
Even though it’s made from the thinnest gold plated titanium needles in the safest and most effective size to stimulate collagen and they say it’s easy to use. So I watched a ton of how to use Banish videos and read a lot of reviews before trying it for the first time.
What’s in the Banish 3.0 Kit
The Banish kit comes with the Banisher 3.0 tool, 2 replaceable heads which last for 8 treatments each, and free Banish Vitamin C serum which is their dark spot corrector with Vitamin C and E.

One of the things I like about Banish is that they make their products fresh, daily in small batches. Another plus is that all Banish products are cruelty-free.

It doesn’t come with the 70-90% isopropyl alcohol you’ll need to sanitize your banisher before and after each use.

How to use Banish 3.0 at home microneedling kit
The Banisher is quick and easy to use. What you need to concentrate on most is making sure everything is well sanitized:
- Wash your hands and clean your face thoroughly.
- Fill the Banisher cap with 70% rubbing alcohol to sanitize bristles for 5 mins, and the let air dry for 1-3 minutes.
- Optional: Use an alcohol wipe on the skin you’re going to be stamping and let air dry before starting your treatment.
- Stamp your Banisher 3 times per area you want to treat. Be sure to AVOID any acne, Keloid scars or rashes.
- Apply your banish serum immediately after.
- Don’t use retinol or aha’s for at least 24 hours afterwards.
- Use SPF during the day.
- Repeat every 2 weeks or up to once a week.
This serum has a minimal ingredient list, no artificial fragrance and few preservatives. It contains the most effective and studied form of Vitamin C that’s proven to brighten dark spots and increase collagen. Banish

Banish at home microneedling results: what can you expect
Banish 3.0 results are going to be personal depending on the degree of your fine lines, acne scars, etc. It’s also one of those at home beauty treatments you’re going to have to be consistent and patient with as it takes time for the body to heal and generate collagen.
Yes, you might see a glow and some plumping the next day but you’re not going to wake up looking 10 years younger. Banish say that results are seen typically within 1-3 months. Will it work on my chicken pox scars, fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, check out my results below.
Banish microneedling results before and after
I’m guilty of not using the Banisher enough but even so my before and after photos, and the results I’ve got from using Banish kit 3.0 for my microneedling at home blew me away! It’s not just my chicken pox scars, fine lines, wrinkles that are less noticeable, I can also see huge improvements in the overall texture. I think my skin looks better at 46, than it did a year ago! Consider me impressed! And it’s definitely motivating me to be more consistent with it.

Photos in a green headband taken in September 2024, photos without a headband taken April 2026. I still can’t get over the improvements in texture and how much less deep my chicken pox scars (see bottom photos, it’s right by my smile lines) are. I have been using this in conjunction with a red light mask and ZIIP Halo 2.0 which help with texture, but pretty sure the improvements in my scars are all thanks to Banish.
I’ll keep updating my progress on @glamourandgains on Instagram, so follow me there for real-time updates and results as they happen.
How much does the Banish kit 3.0 cost?
The Banish 3.0 kit costs just over $100 which breaks down to under $4 per session. Then you can just replace your Banisher heads as needed from their website. I’ll link them below.
Banish Kit 3.0 – Your Questions Answered
Yes, with realistic expectations, correct and regular usage. The Banish Kit 3.0 works by creating micro channels in the skin that stimulate collagen production and allow active ingredients to penetrate more deeply. Results are cumulative and take 1-3 months of consistent use to become visible. It’s most effective for hyperpigmentation, fine lines and shallow acne scars. Deep indented scars may see improvement but results will be less dramatic than professional in-clinic treatments.
Yes, when used correctly as directed by the manufacturer and using a safe needle length for at-home microneedling (.25-1.00mm max). The Banish Kit 3.0 uses gold-plated titanium needles at a safe and effective size specifically designed for home use. The key safety steps are sanitizing the device with 70-90% isopropyl alcohol before and after every use, avoiding active acne, keloid scars or rashes, and not using retinol or AHAs for at least 24 hours after treatment. Follow the instructions carefully and don’t overuse; every 2 weeks is the recommended frequency.
Banish recommends using the Banisher every 2 weeks or up to once a week depending on your skin’s tolerance. Each replacement head lasts for 8 treatments before needing to be replaced.

Yes, microneedling actually enhances the effectiveness of other treatments. Using the Banish Vitamin C serum immediately after your session takes advantage of the micro channels created. You can also use your Dr. Diamond plasma serum after microneedling for enhanced absorption. Avoid retinol, AHAs and active exfoliants for 24 hours after treatment.
