Beauty advent calendar season is here! Yes, even in September. Brands aren’t waiting and some of the most sought-after 2025 releases are already available. Including cruelty‑free beauty advent calendars, luxury beauty advent calendars and new luxury fragrance advent calendars from Penhaligons and Dior. This year’s beauty advent calendars from Charlotte Tilbury, SpaceNK, Revolve, Vogue, Harrods Beauty and particularly the Dior Le 30 Montaigne Dior Beauty Advent Calendar Holiday 2025 have set a new bar for presentation and product curation. They’re as visually stunning as they are generous, packed with both cult favorites and luxury discoveries. It’s no wonder they’ve become one of the things I genuinely look forward to each holiday season.

Beauty advent calendars also offer a brilliant way to explore new skincare, makeup, and wellness brands, often at a fraction of the usual cost and with far less guilt than chocolate or wine versions (though I’ll admit, I still love those too). The chocolate calendar may be responsible for my morning chocolate cravings, but I have no regrets.

In my opinion there’s only 1 way to go when it comes to beauty advent calendars and that’s a beauty advent calendar that’s not just 1 brand but lots so you can experiment with brands you might never have tried before.
However, if there’s a brand you adore, getting one from them ensures you’ll like more surprises behind the doors and drawers each day than not. If you’re looking for a cruelty-free calendar, one of my favorite brands for eye makeup and foundation Charlotte Tilbury, just released theirs.
For cruelty-free perfume, Penhaligon’s advent calendar is hard to beat. For luxury advent calendars check out Harrods Advent Calendar or one of Dior’s advent calendars.

These are my favorite beauty advent calendars as I prefer calendars that have lots of different brands to try instead of just 1. That way I can try new or expensive brands without forking out $350 to try a new product as well as pick up a few new favorites. Most of these sell out super fast and popular brands go on sale as far in advance as September.

What’s the difference between the 2025 beauty advent calendars
Revolve is my go to online store and when I looked at what was inside all of the beauty advent calendars this had the most products that I’d actually use. PS their Holiday best seller sold out in 2 weeks last year so secure yours now! Includes beauty favorites like Summer Fridays Jet Lag Skin Soothing Hydration Mist, Babe Original Essential Lash Serum and Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. As well as a lot of brands I’ve never tried before.
There’s not much difference in price between SpaceNK and Harrods but Harrods always feels more luxurious and since you can’t get SpaceNK shipped to the US right now, Harrods is the clear winner. With 14 full-size products in their calendar it also feels better value.
Charlotte Tilbury’s beauty advent calendar offers the least value for money with only 12 products in the calendar and being worth the least in total value (costs $220, worth $314). However, what’s selling me on this is that the products are all cruelty-free and the box is super pretty and reusable. I also know I love several of the products in there like the Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara and Rock ‘N’ Kohl eye liner.
Whichever one of these best perfume, fragrance and beauty advent calendars for 2025 that you go for, you really can’t go wrong. They all remind me of being a kid and the excitement of opening a new advent calendar door each morning and getting closer to Christmas day. Plus, you might just find a new luxury makeup or skincare favorite.

2. Revolve beauty advent calendar 2025 $89-$150
I chose the Revolve Beauty Advent Calendar last year to review for lots of reasons: it was in stock, the price, there were only 2 non-cruelty-free products and it’s great value. I also wanted to try lots of brands in the box and it had a few of my favorite brands like Charlotte Tilbury and DIBS. It hasn’t gone up in price in years and just gets better value for money. Plus there’s 2 options as more people have been requesting Beauty advent calendars under $100.
This years has lots more different brands I’ve never heard of before or never tried as well as a few favorites like Iconic London, Olaplex and Kopari.
Revolve advent calendars over the years:
Last years contained 24 of Revolve’s best sellers. The 2025 Revolve Beauty Advent Calendar comes in 2 options, 12 days or 25 days. It’s full of their best sellers and great to keep or to gift a friend.

It’s also one of the few beauty calendars under $100 available this year. It does keep selling out but restocks fast and you can sign up for back in stock notifications.

The SpaceNK Advent Calendar 2025 dropped in September 2025 but is not currently available to ship to the US. I’ll update this if that changes and you might want to make a note of that for next year as it sells out fast every year.

Harrods is another beauty advent calendar that might seem expensive but is great value for money. They also come in the most beautiful and iconic boxes.

4. Harrods 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar 2025 £99
This Harrods advent calendar is their most affordable option at only £99 (worth £310). It contains a random 18 haircare products (not 12 or 24) and features hair and body favorites from Harrods Beauty Halls. Including products from Lancaster Sun Beauty Milk, Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler (including a voucher for your next blow-dry), Sol de Janeiro and Ouai.
5. Harrods beauty advent calendar 2025
The 2025 Harrods beauty advent calendar is still £250/$344 and includes 32 cult-favorite beauty goodies worth £1599. While it’s not a 100% cruelty‑free beauty advent calendar, it does contain a lot of cruelty-free brands. If, you love luxury beauty you’ll understand why the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar sells out every year.
For 2025, the calendar includes popular brands like Augustinus Bader (who also has their own 12 day advent calendar), Cle De Peau, La Prairie, and La Mer. It’s not just travel size products, there are full-size products as well.

Charlotte Tilbury’s beauty advent calendar 2025 comes in the prettiest gold jewel handled treasure box which can be reused as a jewelry box. This is for those of you who know and love the brand and know you’ll actually use everything in there.
I love that this beauty advent calendar is cruelty free which is one of the reasons I’m loyal to Charlotte Tilbury and often use her foundation, eyeshadows and eye pencils. However, this makeup and beauty advent calendar offers the least value for money with only 12 products (5 full size, 7 travel size) and is worth less in total value than a lot of the others.
If you’re looking for value for money or to try lots of different brands this isn’t the calendar for you. If you love CT as much as I do, it totally is.

The Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar is one of the calendars that offers the best value. Yes, it’s $300 but it’s worth over $1200. Think cult favorites like Amika, Drunk Elephant, Rodial and Fenty. It’s another cult best beauty advent calendar that sells out fast so definitely don’t dither about snapping this up.
8. Saks 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar 2025
The Saks beauty advent calendar 2025 hasn’t yet dropped but watch this space for when it does as it’s another best seller. Saks 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar usually contains various luxury skincare brands, cult makeup favorites, healthy hair essentials, designer fragrances, and bodycare. Expect more unusual brands you might not find in other beauty advent calendars like Balmain Hair Couture, Christian Louboutin, and Gucci Beauty.

The Cult Beauty advent calendar for 2025 gives a lot of other brands a run for their money of how much it costs vs what it’s worth. With the contents being worth over a whopping $1100. Not content with 24 makeup, skin and hair care products, this calendar has 34 curated beauty favorites. Which includes 20 full size favorites. Now that’s what I call value for money.
I won’t ruin it for you but it contains lots of cruelty-free brands (along with some that aren’t), including best selling brands like Augustinus Bader, PATRICK TA, Summer Fridays and Huda Beauty. What makes it even more fun is that there’s three Golden Tickets worth 1000 Cult Beauty pounds hidden within the 2025 Cult Beauty advent calendars.
10. La Mer Wonder 12-Piece Advent Calendar $600
More and more brands seem to be doing 12 day vs 24 day beauty advent calendars like La Mer Wonder 12-Piece Advent Calendar. If you’re more into skincare than makeup this skincare-packed Advent Calendar is for you. It features 12 of La Mer’s best-loved luxuries, including everything from cleansers to serums, body and hand treatments.
11. YSL Holiday Advent Calendar gift set 2025
I actually feel like Yves Saint Laurent advent calendar is one of the better value advent calendars for 2025 as it has so many full size products in it. The 24 surprise gifts span across fragrance, beauty, skincare, candles, and accessories including both full-size and mini products. Prices vary from $335-$400 depending on where you purchase from. YSL $400 or Selfridges $335 (duties may apply).

Best perfume advent calendars 2025
Fragrance and perfume advent calendars are newer to the game than beauty advent calendars but a great way to try new scents. If you travel a lot they’re perfect for taking with you too. Penhaligon’s and Dior are 2 of the best luxury fragrance advent calendars I’ve seen for 2025 and here’s why.

There aren’t as many fragrance advent calendars as beauty advent calendars but my top picks are:

12. Penhaligons Fragrance Advent Calendar 2025 (cruelty-free)
Penhaligons perfume advent calendar for 2025 was just released and although it’s expensive there’s still so many of reasons to snap this up. I’m totally in love with this calendar and brand as you’ll know from my Penhaligons reviews. So I will try my best to get my hands on one to review for you. If you’re a fan of Penhaligons, have been wanting to try their fragrances or only shop cruelty-free beauty you’re going to want to check this one out.
What’s in Penhaligon’s perfume advent calendar, the ‘Christmas Holiday 2025 Advent Calendar’: Empressa Eau de Parfum 5ml (my favorite Penhaligons perfume), 8 x 10ml fragrances, a generous sized Halfeti Eau de Parfum 30ml, a Christmas candle, lotions, and more.
Duties on International advent calendars
This year’s best beauty advent calendars list looks a little different. Yes, there’s the cult favorites from Charlotte Tilbury, Anthropologie, Revolve and Net-A-Porter. However, some international companies like the SpaceNK Advent Calendar aren’t available in the US this year as they’re not shipping to the US right now. So please bear in mind you might have to pay duties on anything coming from outside of the US like Harrods. At least the Vogue Advent Calendar has included duties in their price so avoid any surprises!
Cruelty-free beauty advent calendars
Unfortunately, since stores like to combine brands for the annual advent calendars not all of them are 100% cruelty-free except for Charlotte Tilbury, Penhaligon’s and Alo. Although 22 out of 24 of Revolve’s beauty advent calendar were cruelty-free last year which is pretty good going and I expect similar this year.
