Beauty advent calendars 2023 are back along with some new luxury perfume advent calendars like Penhaligon’s, Dior and Harrods fragrance advent calendar for 2023. It may only be September but brands like SpaceNK, Net-A-Porter, Vogue, Charlotte Tilbury and Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar are already out and this year they’re more beautiful and luxurious than ever. They’re another reason I love the holiday season and one of the things I get really excited about. Beauty advent calendars are such a great way to try new products, brands and more waistline friendly than chocolate or wine advent calendar versions.
Although, I like to have all 3 and I personally blame chocolate advent calendars for my morning chocolate habit. There are so many calendars around this year that I didn’t want to overwhelm you but to narrow it down to my top picks and why they made my best beauty advent calendars 2023 and best perfume advent calendars list. Including Net-A-Porter, SpaceNK, Harrods, Alo, Charlotte Tilbury and Revolve’s beauty advent calendar.

Cruelty free beauty advent calendars
Unfortunately, since stores like to combine brands for the annual advent calendars not all of them are 100% cruelty-free except for Charlotte Tilbury, Penhaligon’s and Alo. Although 22 out of 24 of Revolve’s beauty advent calendar were cruelty-free last year which is pretty good going and I expect similar this year.
What are the best beauty advent calendars 2023
In my opinion there’s only 1 way to go when it comes to beauty advent calendars and that’s a beauty advent calendar that’s not just 1 brand but lots so you can experiment with brands you might never have tried before.
However, if there’s a brand you adore, getting one from them ensures you’ll like more surprises behind the doors and drawers each day than not. If you’re looking for a cruelty-free calendar, one of my favorite brands for eye makeup and foundation Charlotte Tilbury, just released theirs.
For cruelty-free perfume, Penhaligon’s advent calendar is hard to beat. Alo’s beauty advent calendar is also cruelty-free and vegan.
The best beauty advent calendars 2023
These are my favorite beauty advent calendars as I prefer calendars that have lots of different brands to try instead of just 1. That way I can try new or expensive brands without forking out $350 to try a new product as well as pick up a few new favorites.
Most of these sell out super fast and popular brands like SpaceNK have waitlists open as far in advance as September.

What’s the difference between the 2023 beauty advent calendars
Revolve is my go to online store and when I looked at what was inside all of the beauty advent calendars this had the most products that I’d actually use. Such as That JLo Glow Serum Deluxe, Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Body SPF 40. As well as a lot of brands I’ve never tried before.
There’s not much difference in price between SpaceNK and Harrods but Harrods always feels more luxurious. Especially the rich green and gold advent calendar itself, even if the products aren’t that different.
Net-A-Porter is more expensive than the other 2 but that was because last year 17 out of the 25 beauty advent calendar products were full size. However, this year Harrods is giving them a run for their money and offering 22 full size products in their calendar. So if you know you love the products in their box, this is the way to go.
Charlotte Tilbury’s beauty advent calendar is offers the least value for money with only 12 products in the calendar and being worth the least in total value.
However, what’s selling me on this is that the products are all cruelty-free, the box is super pretty and I know I love several of the products in there. Like the Colour Chameleon in Golden Quartz which is beautiful on Hazel eyes.
Whichever one of these best perfume, fragrance and beauty advent calendars for 2023 that you go for, you really can’t go wrong. They all remind me of being a kid and the excitement of opening a new advent calendar door each morning and getting closer to Christmas day.
Revolve beauty advent calendar 2023 $150
I chose the Revolve Beauty Advent Calendar last year to review for lots of reasons: in stock, price, only 2 non-cruelty-free products. I also wanted to try lots of brands in the box and it had a few of my favorite brands like Olaplex and Tan Luxe.
This years has lots more different brands I’ve never heard of before or never tried as well as a few favorites like Supergoop and JLO.
Last years contained 24 of Revolve’s best sellers, the 2023 Revolve Beauty Advent Calendar is still full of their best sellers and includes 6 full size items. It’s great to keep or to gift a friend and will more than likely include brands like Kopari, Osea, Benefit and JLo to name a few.

SpaceNK beauty advent calendar 2023
The SpaceNK Advent Calendar 2023 dropped on September 12th in the UK and September 14th in the US. You might want to make a note of that for next year. As you’ll want to jump on it as soon as possible as this beauty advent calendar sells out fast every year. Here’s the scoop:
This year it looks to have over 30 beauty treats from your favorite brands. They show a photo of exactly what’s inside which I’m kind of torn about. As I know previews help decide whether to hand over $300+ but they also ruin the surprise aspect that’s normally the fun part about advent calendars.
It’s full of their bestsellers (not all are cruelty-free) worth over $1300. Brands include La Mer, Augustinus Bader and Sunday Riley.
What’s in the SpaceNK beauty advent calendar 2023
Here’s the preview of what’s in the SpaceNK beauty advent calendar 2023. Olaplex No.3 is one of my favorites as it’s really helped prevent my blonde hair snapping especially around the front. It’s also vegan and cruelty-free. Unfortunately not all of the other products in the calendar are.

Harrods is another beauty advent calendar that might seem expensive but is great value for money. They also come in the most beautiful and iconic box in Harrods green and gold signature colors.

Last year Harrods beauty advent calendar was £250/$344 and included 25 cult-favorite beauty goodies worth £1136/$1604. This year it’s actually gone down in price to $275 but is still worth £1,173/$1465 and includes 25 products from luxury brands.
It’s a great way of trying lots of luxury brands without forking out for the full size versions!

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Advent Calendar 2023 -Cruelty Free
Charlotte Tilbury’s beauty advent calendar 2023 comes in the prettiest burgundy and gold jewel handled box. Which they say can be reused as a jewelry box. I’d like this idea if the box wasn’t made of cardboard but it could be cute to pass onto your kids.
What I love about this box and you could see it as a pro or a con is that they tell you what’s in it. That way you can see if you like the products inside and it’s worth your money.
I know I love the Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes mascara and Chameleon eye pencil. So that and the sparkly pink drawers are tempting me. However, the downside is that it takes away the element of surprise of opening each drawer.
I also love that this beauty advent calendar is cruelty free which is one of the reasons I’m loyal to Charlotte Tilbury and always use her foundation, eyeshadows and eye pencils.
However, if you’re looking for value for money or to try lots of different brands this isn’t the calendar for you. If you love CT as much as I do, it totally is.
This makeup and beauty advent calendar offers the least value for money with only 12 products in the calendar and being worth the least in total value. Only 5 of the 12 products are full sized.
However, I know that I like most of the products in Charlotte Tilbury’s 2023 beauty advent calendar versus buying a box that’s a complete surprise and that may contain products tested on animals. So if I can actually use and like all of the products, it makes it better value than others.

Last year this was more expensive than the other 2 beauty advent calendars ($299) because it contained 17 full-size and 8 travel-size products. This years hasn’t been released yet but for an idea of what to expect this was what was in last years.
Think luxe favorites like Augustinus Bader, Charlotte Tilbury, Dr. Barbara Sturm and 111Skin. It’s another cult best beauty advent calendar that sells out fast so definitely bookmark this page so you can be first to know when it’s available.

Saks 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar contains various luxury skincare brands, cult makeup favorites, healthy hair essentials, designer fragrances, and bodycare.

I won’t ruin it for you but it contains lots of cruelty-free brands (along with some that aren’t), including best selling brands like Augustinus Bader, OLAPLEX, Sunday Riley, Supergoop and Elemis.

If I had to pick 1 of these 4 it’d be the Harrods beauty or fragrance advent calendar for 2023. One because I grew up in London and visiting Harrods, I was obsessed with their white chocolate ginger bread man from their food hall as a kid. I’m still a huge fan of Harrods food hall as well as their perfume and bag departments.
Two because it’s likely to have some brands exclusive to Harrods.
Three, it’s so quintessentially British, reminds me of home, and their beauty advent calendar is always one of the best year after year.
Penhaligon’s Fragrance Advent Calendar 2023 (cruelty-free)
Penhaligon’s perfume advent calendar for 2023 was just released and although it’s a lot more expensive than Harrod’s fragrance advent calendar there’s still so many of reasons to snap this up. I’m totally in love with this calendar and brand as you’ll know from my Penhaligons reviews. So I will try my best to get my hands on one to review for you.
If you’re a fan of Penhaligon’s, have been wanting to try their fragrances or only shop cruelty-free beauty you’re going to want to check this one out.
Yes, it’s a whopping $545 but all of Penhaligon’s perfumes are expensive. Since it contains a 30ml Halfeti travel size bottle $130, 8x10ml fragrances $200, six 5ml bottles $58, 3 x 65g candles $100 and more it’s better value than it seems at first glance.
Penhaligon’s perfume advent calendar, the ‘Toy Chest‘ as they’re calling it also contains not only 5-30ml samples of all of their most popular fragrances but also candles, lip balm, soaps, hand cream, and a festive personalization charm to decorate your favorite perfume bottle.
The Penhaligon’s toy sack inside of their advent calendar is giving me all the vintage Christmas feels. Think traditional red, green and white and candy stripes. I’d love to see this festive beauty every morning and delve inside to explore more of this brands offerings.
Dior La Collection Privée holiday 2023 advent calendar
Christian Dior’s ‘The Trunk of Dreams’ is a limited edition beauty advent calendar for 2023 like no other. While it does contain some makeup and skincare items, 16 of the 24 Dior gifts are fragrance related. Whether that’s a perfume, hair perfume or scented candle. So that’s why I’m placing it under the best luxury perfume advent calendars 2023 section.
If you’re wondering about the price point, Dior’s La Collection Privée holiday calendar is meticulously crafted in wood and designed to be kept and treasured. The Toile de Marais design is inspired by 30 Avenue Montaigne. The iconic Dior store and headquarters in Paris.
