Femme Luxe Review | Winter Outfits on A Budget
Femme Luxe dresses, winter clothing and affordable fashion finds. I’ve rounded up my favorite affordable styles for women’s Winter fashion from FL in this Femme Luxe review including their casual, date night styles, blazer dresses, jumpsuits and Femme Luxe black dresses. I’ve done a full Femme Luxe review of each including how they fit and styling tips. As I know shopping budget brands online can be a bit of a mine field and the reviews are mixed.
Full disclosure I started doing Femme Luxe reviews a few years ago as I was offered to do a sponsored post and continued doing them for a while as they offer such affordable fast fashion. However, since writing this post, I’ve personally moved away from this brand as it was no longer a reflection of my own style.

Femme Luxe clothing isn’t where you shop for your fashion investment pieces or classics but it’s good for affordable, on trend, seasonal pieces to keep your look up to date. Some of their styles tend to be on the sexier, feminine, more youthful side which makes it fun but also means I find some of it a little too skimpy for me personally.

I wear a US 00/0 and UK 6-8. When I order from them I order a UK size 6.
Femme Luxe Clothing Women’s Winter Fashion
Black and white oversized houndstooth sleeveless dress
This Femme Luxe jumper dress is definitely a short mini dress but you can layer it over a shirt and leggings with chunky boots and a gold chain necklace for more warmth and coverage. Plus mini dresses are in right now. It’s a versatile piece and I love the boxy cut on the shoulders. It’s quite thick material so definitely better for cooler days. For more shape you can belt it.
Sizing runs a little short in length but true to size (I’m wearing a UK SM). So size up for more length.
Femme Luxe Red Jumpsuit
This Femme Luxe jumpsuit was probably one of my best finds on their website. It runs true to size but the legs are long (I took them up 3.5″). I swapped out the belt to give it a more sophisticated look. For under $25 it’s a fun outfit to throw on for a holiday party. This Femme Luxe jumpsuit also comes in yellow, pink, black white and brown.
Date Night or Party Dress Pick: Off The Shoulder Mini Party Dress
Femme Luxe Finery Wine Slinky Balloon Sleeve Mini Dress – Meghan On sale: $23.99
Femme Luxe clothing show this dress on their website as an off the shoulder dress which looks on trend and sexy but it kept falling down worn that way for me (I need stronger fashion tape).
I ended up wearing this this Femme Luxe dress on not off the shoulder which will also keep you warmer and saves the problem of it falling down. I’m not a fan or bras so I went braless, but you could totally wear a bra with it. You’ll also need a seamless thong as it’s very fitted on the butt.
Femme Luxe sizing runs true to size in this style, so order your normal size.
To make Femme Luxe look and feel more luxe
- Mix designer pieces with your high street or fast fashion buys if you can.
- Add expensive accessories to make it feel more expensive and elegant.
- Choose shoes that boost your confidence. There’s something about killer heels that just boosts my confidence. I couldn’t find these Louboutin’s to share the link with you as I’ve had them a few years but I’ve linked some similar styles.
Winter fashion tip: to be able to wear your dresses in the colder months, add some tights for extra warmth.
Femme Luxe Black Dress
There’s lots of Femme Luxe black dresses on their site. Including some sexy long sleeve, cut out styles that are perfect for Winter and start at under $15.

This is my favorite of these 4, I ordered it as I already have the 1 shoulder version in red that I wore for my birthday in Mexico so I ordered this for Christmas and New Years. It’ll pull double duty as I have a lot to fit in a medium case for 2 1/2 weeks.
Green can be a tough color to pull off as some tend to look a little mature or Christmassy. However, this shade of emerald green is beautiful on pretty much anyone. It also comes in black.
The ruching on this Femme Luxe dress is really forgiving which means I can eat turkey and drink bubbles without worrying about a pooch or it getting too tight!
If this color isn’t your thing, it also comes in white, red, black, beige and brown.

Femme Luxe Sizing
Their sizing tends to run true to size 95% of the time. I’ve had the very rare occasion where I feel like something came up small and wish I’d sized up.
US to UK size conversion is never correct. The sizing charts will tell you to size up one size e.g. if you’re a US 2, order a UK 4. Do NOT do this! You won’t fit even an arm in and very few companies even make a size 4. Size up 3 sizes e.g. 0 becomes a UK 6-8, 2 becomes a UK 8-10, etc.
Trust me on this and if in doubt go up e.g order the 8 not the 6. It’s easier to have things taken in than let out. International shipping’s expensive to do returns. Its almost cheaper to order 2 sizes you’re torn between and gift one rather than deal with returns.
I’m 5’2″ and wear a US 00/0 and a UK 6/8. I’m originally from England and lived there until I was 19 so know the sizing well.
Femme Luxe Clothing Quality
This brand is really for fast fashion and seasonal pieces. The quality’s good for the price but it’s not going to be the same quality as more expensive brands. I’ve never had anything fall apart on me but they do tend to shrink in the wash so follow the care instructions and air dry. This will also help make the color last.
Shopping Tip
If you can, try to shop directly from their actual website rather than ASOS. The prices are much higher on ASOS and they don’t have such an extensive collection. It’s good to use ASOS to compare shipping costs or if what you’re looking for is no longer available on Femme Luxe’s website.

These are the best Femme Luxe clothing loungewear sets not just for comfort but they’re smart enough to wear with heels too! What to wear with Femme Luxe dresses in Winter
Adding a pair of designer tights will add a luxe touch as well as warmth. I was hesitant about ordering the Gucci tights as it seemed a lot for a pair of tights but I’m all about CPW (cost per wear) and have been hand washing and air drying them to try and extend their life. Final Note
I’ve stopped working with Femme Luxe since writing this post at the beginning of the year. I still have and wear some of these pieces but have moved on as my own styles evolved.
