The most impractical bag you’ve ever wanted
Jacquemus mini bags started trending in 2018 after French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus first exhibited his Le Chiquito bag at the spring-summer 2018 show. The mini bag trend is still going strong in 2021 and one of the cutest current trends, however impractical. Not sure if this tiny handbag trend is for you? Check out the Jacquemus bag sale edit below as a more affordable way to try it as well as some of the best mini bags I could find from other brands.
White mini bags, especially cross body, check off 2-3 of the biggest handbag trends for 2021 depending on which you order: micro bags, minimalistic bags and chain detailing. This bag trend may not be the most practical thing in the world but when has fashion ever been entirely about function or practicality?
It’s not going to fit your phone, mask and hand sanitizer but I’ll make it work and my phones out more than in my bag anyway. There’s something about a structured, top handle bag that makes outfits look more polished. Plus white’s always a fresh look for Summer.
Best mini bags to shop for now
If the Jacquemus mini bag is a little expensive, I’ve found some super cute and chic alternatives. I’ve also added a couple of pink bags which are super girly if you prefer a pop of color. There’s also some Jacquemus sale finds like the Jacquemus Le Petit Chiquito crossbody bag. This mini bag will pretty much just fit your lipstick, ID and credit card. It’s definitely more of a leather accessory and style statement than a bag.
