Express women’s clothing collection is a brand I’ve gone back to after being on the lookout for great every day basics and wardrobe essentials. I loved them so much and appreciate their value so much I became an Express Style Editor. So I wanted to give an honest Express women’s clothing review to explain why. This isn’t a sponsored or gifted post but styles I personally chose to review. Express.com wasn’t the first clothing brand that came to mind when I thought of doing a wardrobe refresh. I hadn’t shopped for Express clothes in about 15-20 years but was so impressed with the styles that I was seeing on Instagram that I ended up doing several Express clothing for women hauls.

I wanted to see if Express women’s clothing was as good as they looked in their online photos. There’s lots of women’s Express blazers, jackets, bodysuits and tops in this Express women’s clothing edit plus a pair of skorts.
I like buying whole outfits not just pieces so that I know I have a while outfit and not just 10 random bottoms and tops that don’t match and leave you with still having nothing to wear.
What to buy from Express Women’s Clothing collection
The first thing I noticed about Express women’s clothing when shopping on express.com was the variety of clothing styles from casual to business casual to work to cocktail. In this Express clothing review, I’m sharing the 9 pieces I bought as they were super versatile and can be dressed up or down for work, everyday, or smart casual looks.
I like buying separates like Express bodysuits, tops, blazers, shorts and jeans as it gives you so many more outfits as you can mix and match everything.

The Express tops and bodysuits I’m wearing this Summer.
1. Express Women’s Clothing | Cream Linen Blend Skort
This neutral color and cut of Express skort pretty much goes with everything. It looks like a skirt but they’re actually shorts which is perfect if you live somewhere windy like Las Vegas like I do or just find shorts more comfortable. They’re high waisted and run true to size but since they’re a linen blend they do need ironing or steaming.
2. Express bodysuit – white thong tie shoulder
When I think of Express womens clothing, I think it’s great for basics like bodysuits, tops and t-shirts. However, I’m so glad I checked out their site as they offer so much more and have some super cute dresses and jackets as well.
I like to stock up on white bodysuits and tees for the Summer as they go with everything and can be dressed up or down. This Express bodysuit runs true to size and is thick enough to give full coverage. I love the cute tie details on the shoulder and the thong cut. I love it so much, I might stock up in more colors as it’s such a good wardrobe basic.
3. Express Review | Black bodysuit one shoulder top
An easy and chic Express bodysuit to dress up or down. The one shoulder top style is right on trend and the thong cut means no VPL. Sizing runs true to size and the materials super soft and not see-through. This could just as easy be worn with a slip skirt and heels as jeans or denim shorts and white sneakers.
4. Express Women’s clothing basics | Body contour white strapless top
This Express women’s top is perfect for Summer and the scalloped neckline is super cute. It stays up really well but works better with a strapless bar or nipple petals.
5. Express Women’s T-Shirt – white puff sleeve tee on sale
This Express t-shirt is my new favorite white tee. It’s more unique and interesting than your basic white tee with its twist front and puff sleeves. It’s a little sheer so you’ll definitely need a bra with this top but it’s such a great cut that I’ll be wearing with both denim for everyday and leggings for traveling.

Express women’s clothes tend to be more along the lines of everyday basics and workwear with just a few dressier pieces. I also live in jeans and blazers a lot which is why I’m always shopping for blazers which can get expensive. Express blazers are definitely good quality and value as their pricing is so reasonable, especially during their sales.
6. Women’s Express Blazer | Pink boyfriend jacket
This Express women’s blazer is a slouchier fit for a more laid back look that’s perfect with jeans. Express clothing has so many cuts and colors of blazers I found it hard to choose just one as you know all about my blazer addiction if you’ve been here a while. It’s a linen blend which is lightweight and cooler for Summer but means that it needs ironing or steaming.
7. Express Blazer – Women’s Puff Sleeve Black Boucle Jacket
Another women’s Express blazer jacket. This one has raw edges which give a more laid back Chanel inspired look. It works just as well with your work dresses and separates as it does with denim.
I love a blazer with jeans for everyday. It’s perfect for whipping on and off in and out of the AC and black’s easier to keep clean than white. Care wise, it’s dry-clean only.
8. White bouclé blazer Express women’s jacket
This white subtle puff shoulder Express blazer is beautifully cut and structured. Plus the bouclé tweed material looks elegant and the white is perfect for Summer. It’s machine washable and doesn’t need ironing which is a huge bonus as white’s so hard to keep clean.
Add a Chanel brooch for a more luxe look.
9. Express women’s jacket | Pink bouclé blazer
Another tailored puff sleeve bouclé Express clothing blazer. The puff sleeves and bouclé material made me jump on this jacket. The length isn’t too long or too short and the fit is absolutely perfect. It looks coral on the website but is the fuchsia pink shown in my photos and in the Express review haul video below. You can also machine wash this which I love.
What really impressed me with this Express women’s clothing haul is how well everything fit and the quality for the price. They have lots of sales going on right now (up to 70% off), so stock up while they have more sizes available.
Does Express clothing run true to size
I’m 5’2″ and normally wear a size 0/XS. I find Express clothes run big so I tend to go down to a 00/XXS in Express clothing which I’m not mad about, I quite like the vanity sizing.
