Barbie dresses for women and Barbiecore pink dresses have been on my radar ever since the Barbie exhibit Las Vegas opened and Versace and Valentino released their hot Pink PP collections in ’21 way before the “Barbie” movie was announced. Barbiecore has only got more popular since the release of the new Barbie movie (July 2023). So expect lots more pink Barbie fashion and feminine fashion in general. Me being me, wanted a style that would coordinate with the hot pink Barbie box at the Vegas exhibit. Since I already had the pink Versace bag, as soon as I saw this pink leather Barbie-inspired dress I had to get it. How to get the Barbiecore look | The pink Barbie dresses I’m wearing
I’ve lost count of how many pink dresses I have. I’ve loved them even before the pink Barbie fashion trend took off. These are some of my newest and favorite pieces and how I’m styling them this season.
This hot pink dress has been on repeat a lot this Summer. It fits me perfectly but if you’re tall it might be a bit short. The only issue with this company is they don’t offer returns!
This pink satin dress looks nothingy on the hanger but on it’s floaty, feminine and elegant. Add a hot pink bag and matching shoes for a monochromatic look or gold sandals for a glam look for the evening.
This pink leather barbie-esque mini dress runs true to size (I’m wearing an XS). It’s available to buy or rent if you know you’re only going to wear it once. I wore it to take photos at the Las Vegas Barbie exhibit and magazine party afterwards.
It’d be super cute for going out, if you’re dressing up in theme to go to see the Barbie movie, or for a Barbie Halloween costume.
Barbiecore pink outfits
If you want to create a monochromatic barbie pink outfit that fully embraces Barbiecore, this hot pink satin mini dress is super easy to create an on trend monochromatic look. Which is what the pink Barbie fashion is all about.
Just add matching pink satin heels which were a major score for under $50. It’s comfortable and comes in lots of other colors too. I’m one of those girls that when they find something that works, tends to get it in a few colors.
The other Barbie inspired pink dress I’m wearing below is a satin slip maxi from Bardot and ever so comfy. Pink is such a trending color for 2023, whether just for an on trend color or for a Barbiecore look.
Don’t be afraid to wear this dress as we go into Fall. For extra warmth layer it over a roll neck sweater and knee high boots. It runs true to size and is under $150.

This hot pink velvet mini dress and long gloves set is definitely an on trend statement piece. It’s perfect for the holidays and Valentines day. The whole set is under $200.
Chic pink Barbiecore dress & matching blazer set
If you’re looking for a less glam pink Barbiecore dress for women, this dress and matching blazer set is a more elegant look. It’s perfect for Fall wedding guests and transitioning from Summer to Fall as well as for Legally Blonde themed costumes. I find this brand runs a little big so I ordered a XXS (normal size XS).
Another matching blazer and pink dress set with a similar vibe and about half the price of the one above is this one below by Bardot. It runs true to size and has more of a vintage feel to the fabric.
I found the pink satin platforms on Amazon for under $50 but sized down a whole size as I found them to run really big. They go with most of the pink Barbie dresses on this edit to complete the Barbiecore look.
Hey, if you’re going to go for girly pink Barbie fashion you might as well go all in and do it from head to toe and go for pink, pink and more pink. Especially while monochromatic looks are in style.

New Barbie Movie (2023)
The new Barbie movie release date was July 23rd 2023. It’s one of the best marketing and PR I’ve seen for a movie and received so much media attention and hype even a year ahead of it’s release. So you can expect to keep seeing a lot of pink Barbie fashion this year and next.
Think coordinated looks, headbands, polka dots stripes and big blow outs which are already in style this year and not just Barbie pink outfits.

Barbie exhibitions
Unfortunately the Barbie exhibit Las Vegas that was at The Shops at Crystals at Aria was only a temporary display and is now closed. However, if you’re in London, check out the Barbie art exhibition at ME London hotel.
Also coming from February 4 to July 7, 2024 is the Barbie exhibit at the Phoenix Art Museum in Arizona. The Barbie exhibition will feature over 250 vintage dolls spanning over six decades of Barbie’s iconic history, her influence on global pop culture and artistry.
