It’s just the style, color trends and styling that changes.

Expect a lot of black, white, blue, green, red and pink sweater dresses from me this season from sexy to work appropriate. Neutrals like beige are also in style but they tend to wash me out.

I tend to prefer lightweight styles that I can layer with than bulkier styles that you can easily overheat in. I want to look cute not sweaty!

Some of my favorite long sleeve sweaters this season are this royal blue Lovers + Friends balloon sleeve, turtleneck sweater dress which I fell in love with as it makes a change from black and goes with my white boots. It’s also not too thick and bulky and the flared sleeves make it a bit different. It runs short but otherwise I find it runs true to size.
I also love crisp, bright white for Winter. This white sweater dress is one of the coziest and warmest knit dresses I own and it was under $30. It’s sold out but there’s some great white mini dress alternatives here.
I you’re looking for pink, this ribbed, backless, pink long sleeve knit dress is right on trend for a Winter or Fall sweater dress for 2024. As pink is still a trending color for Fall/Winter 2024-2025. It also comes in baby blue if pinks not your thing.

Off the shoulder sweater dresses are still in for 2024 which are perfect for being a little sexy without showing a lot of skin and still being able to stay warm.
I tend to go for shorter length sweater dresses most of the time for the day as I can wear them bare legs or layer them over tights or leggings. This one runs really short which is great for us petite girls but will be more of a sweater than a dress if you’re over 5’5″.
Just add leggings, tights or jeans for more coverage. I love that the neckline’s a little looser for a turtleneck so that your makeup doesn’t get all over it!

In Winter I tend to wear my long sleeve sweater dresses with flat knee high boots for running around in the day. Then for the evening add tights and switch to longer, high heel knee high boots or thigh high boots which are a big trend for Fall Winter 2024. For major style points, try this Falls red tights trend!
I’m a fan of belts as I think they finish a look and create a better silhouette. Especially with tight ribbed styles as they can be hard to pull off and show every bump. A wide belt covers a little bit and distracts or work if I’m trying to create shape with an oversized style.
I love a belted white sweater dress with white boots for a look that’s brighter than black for grey days. You could also try this look with the metallic boots that are trending this season.

A little trick for preventing your foundation and powder from transferring onto your turtle neck is to spray your neck or dress with a little non-sticky hairspray. It works better than setting spray for preventing your turtleneck from wearing more of your makeup than you are!
