I have so many of these styles favorited and on my wishlist. Sometimes if I can’t decide it’ll come down to what goes on sale first or which stores are in Europe than I can do duty free shopping in. The best designer espadrilles that made this shortlist are either best sellers or the ones seen the most on celebrities and fashion style stars.

I’ll keep updating this post as a lot of styles sell out as the season goes on as designers tend to make a lot less pairs available than a many of the mass produced brands.

The best flat women’s designer espadrilles sandals
Chanel is hard to beat for the best flat designer espadrilles. Although Saint Laurent, Prada and Versace also have some really cute flat espadrilles. I had Chanel flats from 2015-2019 and wore them walking all over New York, Italy and Greece. I definitely got my fair wear out of them but I didn’t replace them as I got 2 pairs of slides instead for walking around European cities. Maybe next year but there’s only so many pairs of shoes a year in this girls budget. If I do, it’ll probably be one of the designer espadrilles on sale like the Prada pair.
Are Chanel espadrilles worth it?
If you walk a lot or like comfortable shoes and want to splurge on designer espadrilles then yes. They’re are about as comfortable as espadrilles get and are a classic style that you can wear year after year. Flat Chanel espadrilles came out in 2013 and are still just as stylish if you’re wondering how long they’ll be in style.
If you’re only going to invest in one pair of flat designer espadrilles, I’d personally go for the simple beige and black or white and black toe capped lambskin leather Chanel espadrilles. They’re classic and are colors that go with pretty much anything including jeans.
The sole on the Chanel espadrilles is also pretty durable. So if you’re looking for luxury, comfort and style Chanel espadrilles are your answer.
