Gucci slides review | Everything you need to know about these Gucci flat sandals for women
Gucci slides are one of the most popular designer flat sandals and for good reason so now I’ve got my hands on them here’s my honest Gucci slides review. They have one of the largest collections of womens flat sandals with lots of different styles including canvas, leather, raffia and rubber pool slides in so many different colors. The new interlocking G rubber sandals came up when I was updating my best slide sandals edit. I already have a canvas and leather pair but nothing rubber for the beach and pool so I headed to the Gucci store to check out the latest women’s Gucci slides. As well as some of the other new styles like the leather pink Gucci slides and raffia and crystal GG pair.

After trying on all of the new styles of Gucci slides for women in the store I decided on the black rubber pool slides. Here’s:

Gucci slides unboxing
The Gucci store didn’t have my size so I ordered them online. They said 1-2 weeks shipping for most colors but for black their website says they’re still in production and will be available from June 11th. However, mine arrived within 3 business days! I don’t know how I got so lucky, so thank you Gucci!
They come in the iconic green Gucci shoe box with individual dust bags for each shoe. There was also a complimentary tote bag but I don’t think that comes standard so I didn’t include it in the short unboxing below.
Why I chose the black Gucci rubber slides
There are so many cute styles in Gucci’s newest slide sandals collection. I adore the canvas pink Gucci slides but I already have the Dior Dway slides. I also love their laser cut leather pink or white slides but I already have a pair of white leather slides. What I’m missing is rubber slides that are more practical for the pool and beach. My Dior I have worn to both but I’d rather not.
Whereas the Gucci rubber slides are a lot safer to wear around water. Both because of the rubber grip sole and not worrying about them getting wet or damaged. They’re also really easy to clean by wiping down with a damp cloth or alcohol wipes.
The Gucci rubber pool slides come in 5 colors: green, pink, orange, black or white. As much as I loved the pink Gucci slides I decided black would be the most practical. They go with every color and are less likely to show dirt and get my self tanner all over them.
Inspired by the summer spirit and beach clubs on the Italian coast, this item is part of Gucci Lido. Emblematic codes of the House and refined patterns are reinterpreted in contemporary ways for the Pre-Fall collection…with an Interlocking G cut-out enriching the style with a distinct logo feel.

Gucci slides review | How do Gucci slide sandals fit
I find Gucci shoes run true to size for the most part when it comes to the actual size. My normal shoe size is a 36.5-37 and that’s what I always get in Gucci. For the Women’s Interlocking G slide sandal I got a size 37. The length is true to size in my opinion but I find they run wide. Although not as wide as their pretty women’s interlocking crystal G espadrilles which run really wide!
How much do Gucci sandals for women cost?
Gucci flat sandals vary in price from $450-$1420 before tax at the time of writing this.
Are they worth it?
It depends on your budget and how much you’ll wear them. I got them in a color I can wear with everything and will show stains less. Yes, I know I’m paying for name but I also know I’ll get a lot of wear out of them which means good cost per wear. I live in Vegas and have a pool so we’re outside a lot. It also also saves ruining Dior slides that I did brave wearing to the pool last year but would prefer to save for everyday casual.
Are Gucci flat sandals good quality
Let’s be honest, they’re basic rubber slides and I’m not sure how good quality simple rubber slides can actually get? However, they’re worth the price to me as I love the look and will get a lot out of them as they’re a classic style that’s easy to clean. But also know you’re paying for the Gucci brand name more than the quality.
They’re comfortable and the soles have more grip than most of their other non-rubber sandals which have more slick soles.

Are Gucci slides comfortable
Yes! I find Gucci shoes comfortable in general. Well at least the Gucci rubber slides and all of my heels are. The leather sandals will need some breaking in to soften the leather before they’re what I’d truly call comfortable. The raffia ones will be if they fit but unfortunately they were too wide for me.
How to style Gucci slides | Summer outfit ideas
You can really wear your Gucci slides with pretty much any outfit except cocktail dresses and gowns. I’ll be styling mine not just by the pool and on the beach with swimwear but for everyday comfortable, casual looks. Think little summer dresses, rompers, shorts and tank tops, shorts and blazers, and resort wear.
I also use them for driving in. As often drive in flat sandals and change to heels last minute.
