Stylish but gym appropriate women’s sexy workout clothes that are hotter than your average gear
Sexy workout outfits are all over Instagram but there’s a fine line between sexy and trashy. As much as I love cute workout outfits, matching sets and styles that are flattering on the booty, I also want support and coverage for working out. In my 20+ years of working out and training as a WBFF Pro Diva these are some of the cutest sports bras, most flattering leggings, best workout clothes and brands that I’ve come across. The sexy workout gear with the softest, most comfortable fabric and details that make a big difference like hidden pockets, adjustable straps and high-waisted leggings that don’t ride down during your squats! So whether you’re looking for cute workout clothes or comfortable looks for everyday that are sexier than your average sweats, keep reading.

What’s inappropriate to wear to the gym
Sometimes less is more, especially at the gym so that you can still move without worrying about anything falling out. A pair of black leggings that are high waisted and have cute details like cut outs or sheer panels can look just as sexy and definitely classier than short shorts you have to keep tugging at.
The same goes for sports bras. Full coverage with stunning cuts and designs, beats falling out of them any day.

The best brands for sexy workout clothes
Some of my favorite brands for sexy workout outfits include:
- Bombshell Sportswear
- Victoria’s Secret
- Carbon38
- FWRD
- Lulu Lemon
- Lorna Jane
- Elisabetta Rogianni Couture Fitness
- Better Bodies
Bombshell Sportswear sexy workout outfits
Bombshell Sportswear is great for flattering, ruched bottoms and high waisted leggings. This activewear brand are known for their hot workout clothes and sexy tops. Their material is super soft and they have some really cute designs. Shop Bombshell directly to avoid counterfeits.

Victoria’s Secret supportive & sexy workout tops and sports bras
Victoria’s Secret is great for really supportive sports bras without looking like you stole your Grandma’s. My favorite is their Knockout High Impact front close sports bra. It has a sexy criss-cross back that’s adjustable and comes in lots of colors including the most stunning shade of rich red.

Carbon38 elevated classic workout gear
Carbon38 is great for elevated styles. They do more than just sportswear but their workout gear is classic, stylish and timeless.
FWRD fashion forward womens designer activewear
If you’re looking for a designer sexy workout outfit FWRD is known for their designer brands and trendy designs. Besides everyday clothing, they have a really wide range of activewear.
They have one of the best selections of designer brand athletic wear and a lot of it’s on sale right now. Including fashion forward matching sets that work just as well for luxe athleisure wear and active lifestyles as they do for the gym and working out.

Lulu Lemon unexpectedly sexy workout clothes
Lulu Lemon might not be the first place you think of when it comes to sexy workout clothes. Normally I’d think basics but they have some super cute workout outfits that include one shoulder and sexy front-zip high support sports bras that won me over.
Lorna Jane quality sexy workout clothes
Lorna Jane was one of the first active living brands I got into when I first moved to LA. I loved how well everything was made, their fit and choice of functional, sexy workout gear.
I still shop there for my high impact sports bras and workout shorts and it’s a great place to pick up sale finds. I also find their pieces last for years and wash after wash.

What to look for when it comes to sexy gym outfits
When it comes to sexy gym appropriate looks think texture and style more than skin and things like:
- High waisted leggings
- Strappy back crop tops
- Sheer panels
- Cut outs
- Luxe fabrics
- Styles that make you feel confident
Some materials, especially shiny lycra show more things than other materials in case you want to take that into consideration when considering these activewear styles.

The 35 best sexy workout outfits
After hours of researching the best gym clothes and considering current fashion trends like hot pink, sheer layers and matching sets, these were the 35 best outfits that caught my eye. Including the cutest 3 piece set from Amazon that comes in 37 different color options.
I couldn’t link some of the brands I mentioned above in the carousel below but I’ve linked directly to their online stores instead.
