Summer trends still have a very feminine vibe along with lots of sheer layers, personal touches and leg bearing styles. Shorts and blazer sets are still a big Summer 2025 fashion trend, dubbed this year as corporate core. Except this year we’re leaning more towards softer tailoring and chic but comfortable outfits. Think billowing pants, slouchy trench coats or long line blazers styled with stiletto pumps and structured medicine bags. These Summer styles for 2025 exude confidence while being super wearable.

1. White dresses
White dresses never go out of style. They’re fresh, bright and it doesn’t matter how smart or casual they are this Summer as long as they’re white. Some of the most fashion forward iterations include breezy dresses, sheer fabrics, billowing maxi dresses and even bubble hems.
Dress them up or down to fit into your lifestyle, combine with the peep toe heel trend or style them under a sheer skirt. As seen at Valentino, Stella McCartney, Prada and Chloe to name a few.
Style them with straw bags and straw hats on beach vacations or with slides and a white bag for everyday.
2. Show your personality
Designer brands have been churning out a lot of the same styles year after year, like the Lady Dior or Chanel classic flap bag which are beautiful but don’t always leave room to show a lot of personality.
This summer it’s all about embracing your own personal style. So while 5 people can all wear the same dress the key is how you’re wearing it. Think belts, layers, hats, shoes, sunglasses and jewelry that means something to you. I for one have already started pushing myself to wear my hats that I love but that have been gathering dust.

3. First Lady aesthetic 2025
Prepare for elegant statement dressing to continue in 2025 with the most chic and structured styles. Also dubbed the modern socialite, I know my friends and I have already started fully embracing this feminine, modern day power house aesthetic.
For Summer 2025, consider pieces like a classic black or white shirt and pencil skirt with stiletto pumps, an elegant satin slip dresses, artfully draped necklines, beautifully tailored skirt suits, waist accentuating belts, silk scarves and immaculate hair and makeup.
For the most on trend looks, seek style inspiration from a lot of the 2025 runway shows, photos of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and Melania Trump. I’m absolutely loving this trend and am fully embracing this 2025 summer fashion which can take you from day to night, weekdays to weekends.

Polo neck dresses and tops continue to be a major fashion trend for Summer 2025. This trend was seen all over the Spring Summer 2025 runways and is comfortable, preppy and easy to throw on and go.
If last years preppy fashion was sporty separates, loafers, socks and pleated skirts, this years takes it to the next level with the comeback of polo shirts and country club vibes. For the most on trend look, go for quiet luxury brands or smaller logo patches.

5. Sheer layers
Sheer tops, dresses and layers were in fashion last summer and continue to take center stage. They may sound a bit daunting at first but they’re actually pretty easy to style and you can make them as sexy or demure as you want. Whether it’s a sheer coverup dress for the beach, sexy going out dress or sheer shirt, step outside your comfort zone and give this summer trend a go.
This Summer it’s less about gowns and lingerie inspired styles and more about sheer skirts for both the day and night. As seen a Altuzarra, Carolina Herrera, Coperni, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton and Carven.
6. Peep toe heels
I have so many peep toe heels for the warmer months as they’re so easy to slip on versus buckling up sandals and they let your feet breathe. I’m so glad to see them staying around again this season as they come in so many colors and heel heights and are more leg lengthening than styles that cut you off at the ankle. They also compliment the 1st Lady aesthetic really well.
For the most on trend looks for 2025, look for high heels, a glossy finish, and small peep toe. What’s great about shoes is that they’re an easy way to instantly update so many of your summer outfits.

8. Candy pink
Candy pink AKA powder pink is replacing hot pink for summer 2025 fashion. The key to wearing this color this year is to keep the styling and pieces you choose soft and feminine to compliment this ultra feminine color. So if you’re looking for new dresses for 2025 summer, think pink bubble hems, crochet dresses and pink satin slip dresses. The color trend also includes pink shoes and bags.

It’s one of those summer runway trends that actually works in real life for a retro, chic look. From swimwear to dresses, I’m definitely embracing this 2025 summer fashion trend.
