Are womens heeled mules in style
Yes, heeled mules shoes are still in fashion especially braided heeled mules and unusual shape heels. Like the ones I’m wearing that are narrow but end in a square which are perfect for occasions where you’ll be on grass like horse racing, BBQ’s, wine tasting, weddings, etc.
As seen at and on celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, Leonie Hanne, Jennifer Lawrence, Miss Fame and countless others at various fashion weeks and out and about this year.
What color heeled mules and heel height are in style
White or one of this years bright color trends are perfect for summer. Moving into neutral shades, orange, forest green and black for Fall and Winter. For the mule heel height think higher than a kitten heel but not so high that you can’t walk in them as they’re not the most supportive of heels.
My white heeled mules are one of my most worn heels this year but I wanted a more glam pair for Fall Winter. The 3 I had my eye on were this super fab lilac crystal and feather pair, the chic black satin and crystal style and the pink satin braided pair I ended up with. They’re all under $200. I went for pink as I have so much pink in my closet to wear them with and I already have an embarrassing amount of black heels.
Sam Edelman mules with low heels
These raffia and bead women’s mules shoes were love at first sight. The low heel is practical and the color perfect for a beach vacation or sipping cocktails by the pool. Plus the neutral color will go with everything and won’t date.
Super Glam Black Satin & Crystal Heeled Mules
How fabulous are these black satin and crystal embellished bow accent 4″ womens heeled mule by Tony Bianco. They’re under $200 but look designer.
I find the pink satin mules run true to size and the padded footbed makes them super comfy. The heels them self aren’t satin so they’re more hard wearing than if they were.
What are mules
Mule is a style of shoe that has no back or constraint around the foot’s heel. Mules have a history going as far back as Ancient Rome, even though they were not popularly worn until sixteenth-century Europe.

Thin heels with square ends are not only practical and on trend but they worked well on the cobbled streets in Portugal. If you’re going to a wedding or even the bride this heel shape is super practical while being fashion forward as well.
The best women’s heeled mules shoes to shop for now
Designer Amina Muaddi has some of the best womens heeled mules and is known for the square heel, transparent PVC iterations and glam crystal embellished styles. This white and crystal pair would be perfect for a bride whose going to be on the grass, cobblestones or the beach and wants a more stable heel.
For luxe for less Shutz, Steve Madden and Raye (the brand I have) have some super on trend options that look more expensive than they are. The Raye pair are way more comfortable than I was expecting.

I’m still wearing the Raye Valeria white heeled mules which I find runs true to size as some of their styles run small. They’re sold out but they have lots more new styles and are one of the best mules for summer not just because the white goes with everything but because the square heel doesn’t sink into grass!
Bottega Veneta still do the braided heeled mules that kicked off the trend and inspired lots of copy cats but there’s lots of other budget friendly styles on this list starting at $24.
