Gold heels are synonymous with glam and add an elegant touch to everything from a simple LBD to gowns. I just ordered a pair of leather gold high heels to replace my gold platform sandals as they’re a heel I often forget about until I need it for parties and the holiday season, etc. I’ve been adding more gold jewelry and bags with gold hardware to my wardrobe and love coordinated looks so gold strappy sandals were on my shopping list and I finally checked it off with this pair from Sarah Flint.

If you’re wondering what to wear with gold strappy heels, they’re definitely better for the evening but work for all seasons. They add a warmer look to Winter cocktail dresses, a more glam look to gowns, and look stunning with summer white dresses for a golden goddess look.

Can you wear gold heels during the day?
I mean, you could but that doesn’t mean you should. Flat gold sandals like Grear would work a lot better and can look absolutely stunning with a summer dress or on vacation but heels for the most part can look a bit extra for the day.
They can work well for taking a look from the day to night or cocktail hour while the sun’s still up. If you’re going to do gold heels in the day, just make sure they’re not too crystal encrusted, shiny or eye catching.

Gold heels and sandals are a classic that are always in style and metallics are a big trend for 2023. They were seen a lot on the fashion show attendees at Fall/Winter 2023/2024. However, gold heels will always be a classic. It’s just that some styles can look a little dated if the leather or styles not quite right. Stay away from ballroom dancing styles unless you’re actually ballroom dancing and stick to classic stilettos like the ones below for a timeless and stylish look.
