Pink dresses are staying in style, specifically candy pink and powder pink and you know I’ll be wearing lots of them (proof in point below!). Pink is one of my favorite colors and because there’s so many different styles and shades it mean there’s something for everyone. Whether it’s a cute, elegant or sexy pink dress you’re looking for. If you’ve never been one for pink or think pink doesn’t suit you, play around with different shades. There are so many hues in warm to cool tones, from hot pink dresses to pale blush that are giving me all of the happy vibes. I’ve been wearing them in all iterations from pink mini dresses to satin pink maxis to sweater dresses. It’s probably the color I turn to the most after black and white.

Is pink in style
Yes! Pink is set to stay as one of the biggest color trends this year. However, this year we are moving away from magenta and more towards lighter, romantic and feminine candy and powder pink. Just look at Miu Miu, Alaïa, Brandon Maxwell, Chanel and Khaite’s Spring Summer fashion shows where so many of the models were wearing the prettiest pastel pinks.
What color pink dress should I wear
Bright colors are still in style but if the thought of a bright pink dress is too much pink and too much of a statement, go for a more on trend pastel pink. I’ll still be keeping my magenta on rotation as I’m not a one and done kind of girl. If I like it, I’m going to keep wearing it.
With the pale and blush pink trend, I always to use a heavy dose of tanner before wearing it otherwise it can wash us fair complexion girls out.
What length pink dresses are in style
Mini’s were the skirt and dress length for the last couple of years from skirts to dresses. Maxi’s and midis are back in, so basically just choose a length that works the best for you. What was most prevalent at the runway shows this year was soft fabrics, draped necklines, etherial billowing skirts and crochet as seen at Chanel.
There’s lots of sexy pink dresses around this year to make finding the perfect dress easy. Layer them under tights and boots while the weather is colder and then when it warms up rock them with bare legs and platforms, wedges or slides.
