I always like to be a season or 2 ahead so that I can share everything with you here. The Spring runway shows outfits for 2025 were a lot more wearable this year than a lot have been in the past so no need to figure out the styling so much. Some trends last for a decade, some for a season so there’s no need to do a complete wardrobe overhaul. As a lot of the spring fashion trends from last year like leather and sheers are sticking around for this years fashion trends for spring/summer 2025 too. From reds and earthy tones to preppy polo neck dresses, leather skirts to billowy dresses, there’s a Spring style and fashion trend for everyone.

These are my favorite looks from the runway for Spring 2025. Including the Spring Summer 2025 fashion color trends, how to copy them to create on trend spring outfits for 2025, and the biggest trends and Spring styles for 2025 to inspire your shopping decisions and Spring outfits.
Some are Spring 2025 must haves if you want to keep your wardrobe up to date. Other are more fun trends to play around with if they’re something you love.

There were so many different looks on the Spring/Summer 2025 runways that it was hard to narrow it down to just a few key Spring 2025 must haves. These are the ones that popped up the most and are the most wearable IRL.
Sheer layers, leather, polo necks and over sized bags are still in style and big fashion trends for spring/summer 2025. While mini skirts and wide leg pants are still around, midis and maxi skirts were everywhere and the silhouettes took on billowing, voluminous proportions.
For color fashion trends for Spring Summer 2025 think black, white, monochromatic beige and tan looks, red, butter yellow and burgundy. Along with the usual pretty pastels and floral prints for all of your spring outfits for 2025.

1. Preppy 2025 fashion | Polo neck dresses of all lengths
This is one Spring outfit I can’t wait to wear. As it’s comfortable, fresh and easy to throw on and go. If last years fashion was preppy with loafers, socks and pleated skirts, this years takes it to the next level with the comeback of polo shirts.
Whether that’s a more fitted style as seen at Gucci or a polo dresses as seen at Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, a contrasting or matching color collar. I really like the polo shirt dresses seen at Ralph Lauren and Givenchy as an easy way to wear this 2025 women’s fashion trend. Get ready to embody the collegiate vibe of 2025.
2. Fashion trends spring/summer 2025 | Suede everything
This trend is only gaining traction and ranges from brown suede bags as seen at Miu Miu spring/summer 2025 to shoes and dresses. It seems like everyone is adopting this fashion trend and it’s a quick, easy and very wearable way to update all of your Spring outfits for 2025.
3. Billowing dresses
Volume is here for women’s fashion trends for 2025. The bigger, more voluminous and etherial the better. Just hope it’s not too windy on the day you decide to wear yours!
Whether that’s a more wearable billowy white dress or something totally over the top. One of my favorite dresses from the Spring/Summer 2025 runway shows was the high neck white maxi dress from the Carven spring/summer 2025. It was a statement piece but still so wearable IRL.
I’ll personally be sticking to more wearable everyday styles like this white mini dress I’ve been wearing on repeat for the last 2 seasons. Like I said, not everything has to be replaced each year. I actually like keeping pieces as I have memories attached to them.
4. Thong sandals | Spring Fashion 2025 – Footwear
Thong sandals are nothing new and are here to stay for Spring 2025 fashion. So if you’re all about shoe trends, this is a super wearable trend to jump on for the next 2 seasons and it’s not just about flats.
For women’s fashion trends for spring/summer 2025 consider both flat and heeled thing sandal options, suede iterations, browns and metallics.
As seen at Zimmermann, The Row, Alexander McQueen and Miu Miu. If the runway shows are any indication of what the street style stars will pick up on, this ultra wearable trend will he huge!
Style them with a perfectly tailored blazer and jeans, billowing dresses or a suede dress. You know what, style them with everything! This is such a versatile and comfortable shoe trend.
I for 1, will definitely embracing this trend as one of my Spring 2025 must haves.
5. Spring Fashion Trends 2025 | Floral prints
Spring always seems like a romantic season to me which is why I love seeing romantic styles on the Spring Summer runways. The floral print and embellished 3D flower tops and dresses for Spring fashion 2025 are so easy to wear IRL and the cuts are so flattering.
Rosettes were a big fashion trend last year and continue to be so this year. We’re not just talking floral prints, although those are in too but 3D flower embellishments.
This is another trend I’m continuing to wear in 2025 to give a feminine edge and add a statement piece to any little dress.
Floral dresses are another Spring trend for 2025 that may not be anything new but is an easy runway trend to wear and another 2025 must have.

6. Check prints and Gingham | 2025 Must Have Print
Not just for the holidays! Plaid, tartan and checked prints walked down lots of the SS2025 runways including The Row, Kallmeyer’s and Bottega. From shirts and dresses, there’s really a way for everyone to wear this casual everyday trend.
It was also a print that was seen a lot in the menswear shows. If a full print is too much for you look for accents, like Burberry’s cuffs and mules.

Bowling bags AKA medicine bags could be the biggest bag trend for Spring 2025. Scratch that, for the entire year! Think tall top handles, practical sizes for everyday, structured boxy silhouettes, and minimalist designs. As seen at Hermès, Bally, Stella McCartney, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Jil Sander to name a few! If you’re going to invest in 1 new bag this year, consider this classic style.
8. Leather Spring Fashion Trend 2025
For Spring fashion 2025 bring out your leather or vegan leather. I love leather and it’s such a practical material for creating Spring outfits on damp or cooler Spring days. This Spring and Summer leather everything is making a massive comeback. From chic leather vests and skirts at Hermès and Givenchy to black leather pants coord sets at Chanel.

I live in Vegas but jackets are still the item I own the most of (besides shoes and bags), so it’s safe to say I’ll be wearing my leather moto jackets again this Spring.

On the opposite end of the scale from mini skirts and shorts are midi and maxi skirts and maxi dresses. The maxi dresses for women’s Spring fashion 2025 range from voluminous to sleeker more fitted silhouettes.
So grab a column skirt, tube dress or maxi dress for a minimalistic look on cooler Spring days. As seen at Zimmermann, Valentino, Erdem, Prada and Bottega Veneta to name a few.
10. Sexy 2025 Spring/Summer Fashion Trends | Sheer Layers
Layers are still big for 2025. You can go as sexy or conservative as you want styling this trend for your spring outfits for 2025. Whether that’s sheer tops or skirts with sheer panels or layering a sheer skirt over pants/trousers.
Sheer dresses and tops sound a bit daunting but are actually way more wearable than you’d think. A lot of the sheer tops like this one come with the bandeau top which solves the issue of what to wear underneath. Another option is mesh knit dresses worn over swimwear or boy shorts.
Sheer long sleeve bodysuits also look fabulous over sleeveless bodysuits and logo bralettes. Layer sheer dresses over bras and booty shorts and just go for it or opt for one of these fabulous dresses!

An eternal classic, this bag was everywhere at fashion week both on and off the runways. The influencers rom Sofia Richie Grainge to Elsa Holk are all donning red Hermès bags but if that’s a little out of reach pretty much any red or black top handle bag will do.

Pink is still a color trend that’s still very much front and centre. What I thought would be a passing trend is here to stay for 2025. So if you don’t already have this 2025 must have, now’s a great time to still jump on this trend.
Pink also pairs well with the another color trend for 2025: butter yellow. As seen at Khaite, Toteme, The Garment, Chanel, Miu Miu, Alaia, Fendi, and Ferragamo.
For 2025 fashion think floaty, light fabrics that compliment the softness of these colors. Style your pink pieces with neutrals, browns and yellow. It’s a really easy Spring 2025 trend to make work in real life as pink suits pretty much every skin tone.

Mocha Mousse AKA brown is the 2025 Pantone color of the year so expect to see a lot of brown this year. I’m not the biggest fan of this color, so if you’re like me and want to incorporate it but not wear it, look for brown eyeshadows, lip glosses bags or boots.
