The prettiest & most stylish floral print dresses for all your Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter events & soirées trending now
Floral dresses are still in style for 2026 so I’ve scouted out the very best floral dresses, floral prints and floral dress trends for 2026. Floral dresses will always be a classic Summer style. While the cut, style, print size and and IT brand changes from year to year, floral prints will always be a timeless look that never goes out of style. They’ve always been a Summer wardrobe staple and with their growing popularity as seen at SS2026, they aren’t going anywhere. I personally love them, as they always look so feminine and seasonal. However, it can be hard to find ones that aren’t a bit dated or frumpy but these are my top picks for the best floral fashion trends for 2026. Including maxis, midis and minis. You can’t go wrong with any of these spring and summer floral dresses and even winter styles for weddings, garden parties, soirees or vacation.

Are floral dresses in style for 2026?
Absolutely, floral print dresses are definitely in style for 2026 and not just for Spring and Summer. There were more floral print dresses and outfits than ever before at the Spring Summer 2026 fashion shows including Alexander McQueen and Ralph Lauren.

As well as at Roberto Cavalli styled with over the knee boots, Chanel women’s Haute-Couture Fall – Winter fashion show and on Anna Wintour in a chic long sleeve, button down, white and burgundy floral print dress outside the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week (Haute Couture Fall Winter).
While floral dresses are a classic, it doesn’t mean the one you’ve been pulling out every Summer for the last few years will necessarily work this year unless it’s a true classic. As the floral print dresses that are in style for 2026 are as much about the cut and styling as they are about the floral print.

Pink floral mini dress
If you’re looking for an ultra-feminine, breezy style for Summer this pink floral mini dress gets rave reviews. It runs a little short if you’re tall but is so adorable and also comes in a pale pink if this is too bright for you.

Fit and Flare Flower Print Dresses
Fit and flare styles are a classic dress shape that’s super flattering on most people. Lovers & Friends has some great options that won’t do too much damage on the credit card!
What are the floral fashion trends for 2026
Floral dress fashion trends for 2026 are more romantic and eye catching than ever. While floral designs are a classic, it doesn’t mean the one you’ve been pulling out every Summer for the last few years will necessarily work this year. Unless it’s a true classic. As the floral print dresses that are in style for 2026 are as much about the cut and styling as they are about the floral print.

This years floral dress trends include:
- Corset and bustier styles
- 3D flower tops and dresses.
- Sheer overlays.
- Various materials and cuts from loose and flowing to more structured styles as seen at Alexander McQueen. Bardot has some great options that are much more affordable.

Maxi, midi and mini floral print dresses are also trending for summer dresses for 2026. Don’t think they’re just for Spring/Summer, floral dresses work just as well with cute boots as they do with slides and heels.

It seems unsurprising that florals have taken pole-position as the must-have pattern with 1480 looks and a steady 17% yearly growth rate across the latest fashion week.

The best floral print dresses to wear in 2026
From cute to classic to the most fashion forward floral dress trends of 2026, these styles are the prettiest prints and styles to be seen in this Summer. Whether it’s for a cocktail party or more casual for everyday. I’m really loving puff sleeve styles because more is more and it’s a versatile style to dress up or down.

This strapless Elliatt midi dress runs big so I recommend sizing down 1 size. The material is thick enough for cooler Summer days and the colors work for Fall too. It’d make a beautiful Fall wedding guest dress as would this slinky satin, strapless midi dress from Katie May.

Shop floral print maxi and midi dresses
These are the most stunning and stylish floral maxi and midi dresses I could find for 2026 from bright floral print dresses to muted, elegant jacquard and solid colors. I’ve separated this dress edit into maxis and midis and then minis below to make the dress style you’re looking for easier to find.
From designer to high street for whatever the dress code and event you’re dressing for this year. Whether it’s a pretty summer dress for 2026 or feminine style for Fall/Winter.

I tried to rent the Zimmermann postcard floral midi dress for the Goodwood Qatar horse races in July but unfortunately they canceled on me the day before it was due to arrive. It was my dream dress so I’m going to have to find another place to rent it from and occasion to wear it!
Here’s the best floral maxi and midi dresses to slip into for 2026. If you’re looking for a designer style, Dolce & Gabbana’s chic and sophisticated floral dresses are hard to beat. For luxe for less Katie May’s styles and fashion forward while Lulus and ASOS have some of the most affordable styles.
Shop the best floral mini dresses
Floral print mini dresses from designer to luxe for less, whatever your style and the occasion. From the cutest baby doll dresses to casual summer dresses to pretty cocktail dresses. As you can see from my photos I have a lot of this print already but if I was shopping for more it’d be this cap sleeve mini.

This year it’s Zimmermann whose coming up roses with the best designer mini floral summer dresses but Love Shack Fancy and ASOS have some super cute luxe for less styles too.
