I love both styles! So I’ve been stocking up on softer, looser casual corset dresses for the day. As well as more structured, slinky sexy corset dresses that make me feel like Jessica Rabbit for the evening. Are corset dresses in style 2022?
Yes, they’re a major Fall fashion trend along with corset tops and bustiers. The 3 dresses I’m wearing here are all from Bardot clothing’s newest collection and run true to size. My favorite is the long sleeve, lace, floral white corset dress below which is so cute for Fall. It can be worn on or off the shoulder.

This super cute style is perfect for Spring-Fall and runs true to size. Sometimes corset dresses can feel a bit restrictive but this is loose and flowy with just the right amount of structure in the bodice.
The beauty of the corset dress trend is that it’s more versatile than you might think. They’re easy to style more casually for the day or sexier for the evening depending on the cut and fabric of the style you buy.

I got so many compliments wearing this sheer panel corset dress. It has sequins that give it a little sparkle too making it perfect for a sexy night out or bachelorette party.
How to style them for the day | Casual corset dresses
This is a fashion trend to have fun with and mix different styles. For the day, style a fit and flare more casual corset dress with cowboy boots, ankle boots, chunky boots to add a tougher edge or mules for a more feminine look. Layer under a denim jacket on cooler days to keep it casual. This style even works with sneakers and an oversized cardigan. So you can make this trend work for whatever you want to wear it for.
I love styling shorter mini’s with platform heels to cheat longer, leaner legs and am making the most of this trend while it lasts.
How to style corset dresses for the evening
For the evening go for a more glam fitted style like a feather embellished or satin bustier dress with stiletto heels. Go for a big 90’s blow out to be right on trend or classic Jessica Rabbit waves to complete the glam look. There’s really no wrong way to wear this trend, you can put your own unique spin on it.
The white style in the photo above is sold out but this brand carries so many iterations of this trend it’s easy to find something you love. Plus they’re pretty affordable.
The best corset dresses to wear now
I spend so much time online shopping and scouting out the best styles for each seasons trends. These are the best styles I came across from minis to gowns. I’m going to stock up on some more glam satin styles for my birthday and holiday parties to hold in the holiday food baby and bubbles bloat.
If you’re not sure what style suits you, you can always try a few different from looser styles to sexier styles and see what feels best on. A lot of online stores have really good shipping and returns policies to be able to try a couple of sizes.
I tend to shop for occasions so that I know they’ll get worn and not sit in my closet with the tags still on! I’m definitely a repeat wearer and try to get as much wear as possible out of my clothes and accessories.
