Must Have Fashionable Winter Coats| Womens Long Coats
Women’s winter coats can either complete a stylish outfit or land flat. I’ve been hunting down women’s winter coats and jackets to try and find the perfect womens long coat; color, cut, style, warmth. The choice of womens coats and jackets can be overwhelming, so I started narrowing it down to be more specific. I wanted a long winter coat in either white, cream or grey rather than black to look fresh and a little different. Black’s always a classic, but there’s something elegant about lighter colors. I also wanted a fashionable winter coat that was a longer length, belted for shape, and thicker for winter than a lot of trench coats are.
Where to buy affordable womens winter coats online
I have a few go to online stores I know I can always rely on for more stylish pieces and quality I can trust like Revolve, Nordstrom, and some of the brands on ASOS. I also looked outside of my normal places this time to try and expand the options to find something I really loved.
I’m sharing my top 5 fashionable winter coats that I found from the thousands of womens long coats I searched through that won’t blow your budget.
Top 5 Long Line Women’s Winter Coats
If there’s any style of women’s coat that always in fashion and is a classic, it’s a longer line solid color coat. These womens long coats are perfect for both Winter and Spring as the neutral shades go with everything and are the colors to wear right now.
1. Women’s Long White Coat
I know white might not be the most practical color for a winter coat but this is too gorgeous not to share. Make sure to protect it in advance with some Scotchgard and maybe avoid red wine while wearing this beauty. I love shopping from Revolve as they offer free shipping and returns and they always ship really quickly.
2. Lacoste Grey Double Breasted Long Coat
This womens winter coat’s is on sale right now for 50% off so sizes are selling out fast. This shade of grey is so versatile, it goes with everything and looks good on everyone.
3. Cream Calf-Length Wool Blend Coat
This Abercrombie and Fitch cream coat is made from wool making it a cozy and warm option. I wouldn’t normally shop and Abercrombie and Fitch but this fashionable winter coat coat changed my mind.
It also comes in tan but the cream is much more elegant and on trend. The one downside is it isn’t lined so it doesn’t feel as expensive as some and I didn’t like the button but that’s easy to swap out.
On the plus, it looks fabulous and it’s on sale. It’s a great wardrobe staple and a classic that’s unlikely to date anytime soon. If you prefer lined coats, you could always have a tailor line it for you.
4. Beige Belted Utility Coat
Another ASOS find. I grew up in England and on River Island and always come back to this brand as they always have the latest styles and the qualities good for the price. I’m loving the belt on this womens winter coat and the detailing on the pockets. It’s sold out but the one I found from & Other Stories is very similar. Or if you love River Island, this is a shorter length camel winter coat from them.
This mid length womens winter coat is also a really lovely structured coat if you prefer a shorter length.
I’m a big fan of pockets on most things and the seams and snap fastenings on these make the pretty and practical.
5. Camel Notched Single Button Overcoat
If you’re a fan of camel and on a budget this is the best women’s coat I found. Its’ an elegant long length coat that’s fully lined which for a $31 option is really impressive. It’s not going to be as warm as the wool versions but a great option for warmer winter days and spring. I’d probably belt it and swap out the button to a gold one to make it look more expensive and fitted. It also comes in a lighter neutral color and black.
