The best leather dresses are more wearable than you probably think and can be as chic or sexy as you want them to be. Depending on the dress you wear and how you style them. I’ve been eyeing quite a few faux leather and vega leather mini dresses from Amanda Uprichard, Heartloom and Lemarque. Although if you’re looking for the best luxury, designer leather dresses ALAÏA and Versace are hard to beat for sleek and stylish looks. Pink or red leather dresses are also another way to wear this style for a change from black and are trending colors for 2024.

Are leather dresses in style for 2024?
Leather dresses are most definitely in style for 2024. They were a huge runway trend. As seen at Hermès, Givenchy, Chanel, Alaïa, and Courrèges Spring Summer 2024 runways shows to name a few. So yes, you can wear leather dresses in the Summer not just during the colder months.
I also highly expect it to stick around for the Fall Winter Spring Summer 2024 shows too. For a look that works IRL, go for elegant leather dresses like the ones seen at Alexander McQueen, Khaite, Chanel and Bottega Veneta. They don’t have to be luxury leather dresses to nail this trend but it’s worth spending a little bit more so that they don’t look or feel like plastic.
These sleek styles strike the perfect balance between edgy and feminine and work in both real and vegan faux leather.
The styles on my wishlist right now
These are some of the styles on my wishlist with colors that work for all seasons. I ended up ordering the Lamarque black strapless dress but Amanda Uprichard and Karen Millen black leather dresses were also at the top of my list and have a lot of options that are on sale. You know how much I love a good sale find.
I find Karen Millen great for classic styles and Amanda Uprichard for feminine on trend styles. I know both brands fit me like a glove too and their quality is always consistent.
I’m also tempted by the pretty pink styles like this mini (above). It’s an easy way to wear a wear leather in Spring or Summer for 2024. As well as earlier in Fall to keep the leather trend worked into my wardrobe while keeping it fresh and light.

One of the hottest brands right now, Miaou, has some super on trend pieces. This celebrity loved brand has been exploding. For sexy designer leather dresses, you know how much I love Versace. For feminine styles I’m loving ALAïA and for chic quiet luxury Khaite has some minimalistic timeless luxury leather dresses. If you’re looking for a knockout red leather dress, Alexander McQueen has the style of the season.
