Does Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF Powder Work?
Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 50 powder sunscreen is my Summer go to for keeping my SPF topped up throughout the day without messing up my makeup or needing to wash my hands. There’s quite a few SPF powder sunscreens out there but Colorescience sunscreen is cruelty free and they have both a matte and glow option. Living in the desert, applying SPF just once in the morning won’t cut it, you have to keep reapplying throughout the day. However, before SPF powder and SPF setting spray came about that wasn’t really practical. Thankfully SPF makeup products like Colorescience sunscreen make reapplying SPF in your car or on the go possible and are small enough to keep in your purse. Here’s how to choose the right formulation for you and everything you need to know in this Colorscience SPF review.

Which is better Colorscience Sunforgettable matte or glow SPF powder?
It’s really just a personal preference on whether you prefer a matte or glowy finish. Colorescience Sunforgettable Matte SPF is what I’ve used in the past. I just tried the new Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 50 Glow and definitely prefer the matte. I like glowing skin and use Supergoop Glowscreen but because I get oily on hot days, I prefer the matter for dampening down shine versus adding more glow. However, I do like Colorescience sunscreen glow powder for highlighting cheek bones, your collarbone and shoulders.

How to use Colorescience sunscreen SPF Powder
There’s a bit of a knack to using it and getting the Colorescience sunscreen SPF 50 powder to flow the 1st time you use it. Make sure you remove the clear elastic around the brush before your 1st application. Then with the cap on before each use give it a few taps cap side down on a hard surface. You can tell if there’s any powder on the brush by giving it a flick with your fingers.
For the most even coverage apply the Colorescience SPF 50 powder sunscreen in small circles on dry skin. Rather than in long strokes to make sure you don’t miss any areas. To reload more powder give the brush a shake with the brush facing downwards or recap and tap like you did to start.
Shop Colorescience sunscreen SPF 50 Powder
