Quilted jackets will always be in fashion and are still a Winter coat trend for 2023. Not just women’s quilted jackets but quilted everything! Bags, skirts and dresses were everywhere last Fall and Winter and are still a classic fashion choice that’s perfect for cold weather. Are quilted jackets in style for Winter 2023/2024? Yes, Absolutely! If you haven’t seen the trend yet, just wait for when it turns cold or have a look at Miu Miu’s runway show. There are so many different ways to wear the quilted trend it makes it easy to work into your style. If a Barbour quilted jacket or puffer jacket aren’t your vibe, a Chanel quilted bag or similar style is a more elegant. It’s also a more subtle way to jump on the quilted and puffer trend.

Are quilted jackets in style 2023? Yes! It’s a trend continuing on from last Winter. Women’s quilted jackets are one of the warmest and most practical winter coat trends for 2023-2024.
Let’s be fair, we’ll all be wearing a winter coat at some point this season and a quilted coat is both fashionable and practical. Whether it’s a trench coat or quilted puffer, classic fit, belted or relaxed fit.
You can’t go wrong with this Winter 2023-2024 trend. A Barbour quilted jacket is always a good classic lighter weight option. It’s my go to for warmer winter days or layering with. For colder Winter days, a thicker puffer jacket like a North Face jacket is the way to go this Winter.

These womens winter coats include Barbour quilted jackets, Moose Knuckles (I’ve linked a few on sale but they’re running low in most sizes so snap them up while you can), Canada Goose, Mackage and all of the other brands that are known for creating warm, technical winter coats that are actually stylish.
As much as I love staying warm, I also want a women’s quilted jacket that looks equally good on the street as it does in the woods or out in the countryside. As well as one that didn’t have real fur. If that’s important to you be sure to read the product descriptions fully and yes, shearling is fur too. As they have to kill the animal not shave it to get it.
If you’re looking for something that’s streamlined and flattering, the belted Barbour quilted jacket or the Mackage one I’m wearing is perfect. This Mackage jacket seemed expensive for what it is but it’s super warm and screws up into a tiny light ball that fit in my Prada tote bag (pictured above).
This women’s Barbour jacket is great for a transitional season coat that’s not too warm or bulky but still a technical jacket. Barbour is one of those classic brands that will always be popular and in style.

Women’s Quilted Jackets & Coats Sizing Tip
International sizing between the UK and US is always off. Trust me when I say that as I’m English-American and only moved to the US when I was 22. A UK 6 is a US 00 and a UK 8 is a US 0 (not a US 4).
Otherwise you’re going to end up ordering something way too small in the US or too big in the UK. Some of these women’s puffer jackets also have faux fur collars which is always a classic fashion choice.
Quilted Bags
I’ve been wearing quilted bags for as long as I can remember. Thanks to Chanel and Dior they’ll always be a classic. There’s also the puffier, pillowy, woven look and micro mini versions. While either style are still in fashion, if you’re worried about it dating, stick to classic quilting versus the puffier styles in a size that works the best for you.

If you want to get something more seasonal and statement making, it’s not just women’s quilted jackets that are in. Quilted clothing is another trend for Winter 2023-2024. Plus the extra padding hides the holiday party pounds.
Alice + Olivia have some stunning black quilted skirts and Revolve has some quilted black leather shorts I have my eye on. A lot of other mainstream brands are carrying quilted shorts and dresses as well.
Quilted skirts and shorts don’t sound the most practical for Winter. However, layered with tights, over the knee socks or even leggings and the knee high boots or thigh high boots trending this season you have a cute cozy outfit.

I’ve always loved quilted boots, they’re such an easy, classic boot to pull on and go.
I have these quilted boots in both black and white as I have a thing for knee high boots and they’re super comfy for everyday. The white one’s are sold out but I’ve scouted out some similar styles for you.
